I had it in the Big W shopping cart ready to pay for but the page wouldn't respond on its PAY button, kept refreshing, then.... SOLD OUT! I was so pissed , absolutely dodgy way of selling it online only.
So happy I managed to snag one. They were completely sold out until the day before release. They were available for a couple of hours on a Swedish electronic retailer. So managed to get this, Edge controller and a regular controller.

@@MikeZablo this year is actually very easy, I got one from best buy without putting much effort, and I try to get an other one and looks like I can still get it, but I’m too lazy to register an other Best Buy account and do all the stuff, so I didn’t do it.
I think it’s different depending on where you live. I live in Sweden and It was quite easy to get the edge and slim, although they are sold out now. However the regular 30th controller is still for sale on a number of sites and in stores as well.
Ive seen a few vids of these and some boxes have yellow sides and some have white sides, i just ordered one and plan to keep the box and hope its yellow

Can't lie this looks pretty average compared with my 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro that I was lucky enough to have got day one out of 12300, will keep that sealed. Details on the Pro are next level along with being actually legit limited. Looks amazing next to my sealed 20th Anniversary PS4 which I also somehow managed to get day one out of only 12300 🎉🙏
Thank god I can finally do away with Sony's ugly two-tone sterile DualSense colour schemes, and just get two 30th anniversary controllers instead. The PS1 back in 1995, which i had at launch, along with the Dreamcast(99), were the last FUN looking non-nintendo consoles that had character imo. Nearly everything these days is a bland black & white box. This new 30th DS has that mid 90's flavour to it, and the multi-coloured Shape buttons make all the difference. Video games are supposed to be fun, and the consoles and controllers should represent that as well.

i got the original ps5, and it's still new, so is it worth it to get the ps5 slim 30th anniversary edition or not?

I got the 30th dual sense edge and notice there’s a pretty annoying squeak on the d-pad. Are you experiencing the same?
