@@manuelruizdiaz3155 Hi. Funny but I listened DM when Never Let Me Down came ('87). PSB came first but I still don't know what's that music video I liked much. They played inside some bubbles and so (I don't have listened them after 1988. I loved even more DM. I was 6-7. Then 1990 Enjoy the Silence exploded my mind. Later I become punkhead and post-that. JD released Permanent just right time, 1995. I bought LWTUA-CD-single with it. I started play guitar too. 1997 I had all their LP's. Transmission changed my playing style. It took 6 years I saw their BBC-live. I was sitting in my floor (joint in my mouth) and I almost fell. It really caused cold turkey-effect. But... of course NO rewoke my past passion to synth music. Well now I have all their LP's, many singles (7" & 12"), remixes and live recordings (1979-2002). Some of those in two (3 if MP3/FLAC counts) formats. Some Cd's in old and new pressings too 🔬 Btw all JD-live concerts available... some with a soundcheck include. ... Actually Ceremony 7" (bronze cover, FAC-33) was my first vinyl. I didn't have even vinyl player in those days. Later I pretend that I was DJ. But I learned to play bass, organs, drums and mixing/mastering/remake/remix. I guess because JD/NO. Sadly this remix I have not. But I waited 20 years and saw NO live 🇫🇮 They played this version I had never heard but I liked SOO much... WFTSC (album version) is my top 10 NO-songs. They played also Decades. I guess it was their 2nd time after JD died. I recorded that gig secretly with Olympus-650ws. This is 👏 As Be a Rebel... (remix too) Sorry my broken English. I've not used to write it down after ~ year 2000...
i have seen New Order play this version twice in the last 12 months and its freshened up the song. For me it could be the best song in the set live, its so hypnotic. I want to download it.
Nice one! Love this version. 36 years on and they still smash it. Been a fan since the 80's and great to hear them still going strong and smashing Glastonbury this year!!!
Heard it in concert last time around. I thought it was going to be the “dancing bear song” and didn’t really recognize it. Didn’t like the original version but can’t get this out of my head all of a sudden.
Helsinki, FIN, FLOW 2016. I like original (album) version so Much, but this was wonderful suprise. ♡ As was this one: th-cam.com/video/cfrwZfi12f8/w-d-xo.html
just heard this on bbc iplayer Glastonbury set , this is such a cool n awesome remix ! it is one of the best new order remixes ever ! it is up there with the felix da housecat remix of Here To Stay n the RAC N Andrew Weatherall remix of Restless ! all AWESOME !
I've heard a much shorter single edit of this remix several years ago, but haven't been able to find it since. Anyone know of or could point me to a link, it'd be like reliving some wonderful memories. And thanks for posting this treasure, too.
This version is cool, but I prefer much more the original. Well I'm pretty sad that New Order are playing this version instead of the album's one. I love so much to hear the Peter Hook's bass lines, Bernard Summer guitar, the original song it's one of my favorites since Regret.
But like 1963 original version of WFTSC don't work. Only working version I've heard of 1963 is in that DVD... That's why they don't play it but VERY rarely. Like Dream Attack. Montreaux 1993 (was it 2 weeks before they "took pause" untill Reading 1998?) is good one. And all those are just magnificent songs. Classics.
The only place I have ever seen it is in part of the 2-disc release of David Waxman’s UltraElectro. And beware because there is an iTunes version of that album but it is not the real one and doesn’t have this song.
ok, but not as good as the original version, in my opinion one of NO's very best tracks. The remixing seems redundant and offers nothing further. I would have preferred a simply longer version of the original (as in the extended versions of the later superb Music Complete album)
❤❤❤❤ who's listening on Dec 2024
Absolute stunner and one of my go to tracks to blare with the windows down on a summer's day.
Guilty as fffffkn charged 🎶🎶🎶🎶❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’re meeeeeeeee hahaha I blast NO all the time ❤
I'm 43 and been in love with NEW ORDER since 8th grade!
Paco Loco same boat!
DITTO !!!!! WTF is this mix, rivals BT and all other EDM!!!!!!!!
Yes the same for me!!! I discovered in 1987 New Order, DM, Erasure and Pet Shop Boys when I was 11.

So I was 15... and here you're on 9th grade... but... now I'm 40.
You're maybe 46?
...So it was True Faith or Substance-time? 👍

It's a far cry from when i saw my fav band on the planet, Dublin SFX Jan'86,i loved the band then, and i love even more now.
I’m not worthy ❤😂😂😂❤❤❤ I ffffffgggn love no
Have this on vinyl played it for MONTHS when it dropped in mid-00s, brilliant RMX.
Great version. That's the one I have heard for the first time at SoundCloud mix back in 2010. Love it

Your correct Liam, superb as always, New Order practically raised me from 15 to where i am now 47.
Friendchip.
@@Flur1 Same. 15-41. Soon 42. Soon 50, if No desided so.
Loved the original as a straightforward Rock track and this takes it to a whole other level, completely reimagines it. Brilliant!
Heard it in concert last time around. I thought it was going to be the “dancing bear song” and didn’t really recognize it. Didn’t like the original version but can’t get this out of my head all of a sudden.
it caused quite a bit of confusion when they debuted this mix. Many thought it was a new track.
Saw Nick Warren in Toronto 05ish? Asked him to play this. Delivered.
What????????
I finally found the version they played at their concert! This is superb!! Thank you so much for posting!
Michael Nakis Superb indeed
Never heard this version until the Glastonbury 2016 set - Awesome!
Same. Absolute banger.....
same here....great version
And they did this twice with the Australian Chamber Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House on the 2nd & 4th June 2016... I was at the 4th June gig

NEW ORDER. GOAT!
just heard this on bbc iplayer Glastonbury set , this is such a cool n awesome remix ! it is one of the best new order remixes ever ! it is up there with the felix da housecat remix of Here To Stay n the RAC N Andrew Weatherall remix of Restless ! all AWESOME !
Lee Coombes mix of Crystal is another great remix of theirs plus Fire Island "regret" and "world" by Perfecto.
NYC 2006, dark bittersweet old days.
They are quite wise to play this rendition live (did at Coachella earlier this morning/late last night).
Ditto on that one!
Marvelous , thanks !!!
Very nice! I like it more than the original.
Me too. I heard this version first. But some remixes are better than original versions.
Definitely improves the original. And NO knows. This is the reason they play it at the concerts.
glastonbury 2016 - fuck - this is good
Facts
What a great tune!
They performed this version of the song last night in Chicago (and I assume the rest of the tour).

" I want this song exactly how the way it is!" Dose any one know to get it?
"All around the continent" not with brexit 😎

This just packs a greater ball of emotional energy than the original, even without all those trademarks.
To be fair, the new live version is this version but with the guitar and bass parts also included. I think it's great. :)
But like 1963 original version of WFTSC don't work.

un remix muy superior al original
Without Hook's bass line can't compare to original
Opino lo mismo
tremendouse. never liked original track. this is great
Yea I listen to the original and was confused 🤔 lmao
I luv new order but never liked this track much...this version is massive where can I buy it?
