After his WoO upset. Watching him run down and passing Dewease & Macri....... I found myself rooting for Stutts to win it. I'll settle for a very respectable 2nd. Good job T J Stutts.
Trust me, you don't want to see the full highlights. The last 25 laps was boring as hell with bottom groove only racing or follow the leader with no passing racing. If you want to watch any highlights, watch Thursday's nights and Friday nights Port Royal races instead of this Saturday night Tuscarora 50.
@@tokeypokey It was for myself. I was there and I have been to most Tuscarora 50 races since 1992. I and many people that were there said this was there worst Tuscarora 50. Snoozer!
Not going to lie, the second 25 lap segment was the most borijg 25 lap race ive ever seen at port royal. The first 25 laps was actually interesting, but that last 25 lapper made me not even stay for the non qualifiers race.
They set the track up for the locals. They knew what they were doing. The locals were 5/6 in the dash and could have been 6/6. He busted the show up. The rules were the same for everyone
Seems to me like the locals had 6 of the top 7 spots. I mean it may have been 1 lane but it seemed like the locals did better Saturday then Thursday and Friday. I mean macri was good all 3 days besides the wreck but stutts said he want back and built a car and it resulted in doing better. Dewaease made big changes. So either way you want to frame it the locals best run of the week was when the track slowed down during qualifying and heats. The previous days when it was faster they got plowed
dankerns171 Raymond 3830 will disagree with you on that, hell Ray Ray doesn’t even think he’s top 5 in the state, and he’s got some guy that’s not even from California ahead of him on his list ridiculous list 🤷🏼
The racing was great on Thursday and Friday night at Port Royal, but tonight was the worst Tuscarora 50 that I have ever seen in the 30 plus years of myself going to Port Royal Speedway. I knew that we were in for a boring night of racing with that wind tonight. I am not use to seeing boring races at Port Royal with one groove racing but we got it tonight, especially for the final 25 laps.
Criticism of tracks on social media is unproductive but the reality is you cannot lose your track for your Crown Jewel event of the season. Unfortunately trying to run a day time show on Labor Day and 3 straight nights of racing for the Tusky 50 weekend isn't a formula for success. Alot to expect from your track crew to not lose the track surface. Speed Palace owners need a new plan for Fair Week because that was a disappointment last night.
Chase Raudman, you can say the obvious when a track takes rubber. It is a bad part of multiple day shows. But in the broadcast to think that anyone was going to move out of the rubber was wishful thinking.

@Laike_Imm Unfortunately if tracks chose to run multiple day shows then they need a plan and the best modern tools available to prepare these tracks.
