When men were men, women were women, cars were cars, and America was America... Pontiac did so many cool things, like the Eight Lugs and that Lucite steering wheel.
My Dad had a '70 LTD, and the first time I saw the high beam indicator, I said "look at the king's hat."

Great car! We had a '62 Grand Prix 2 door hardtop for many years. My Dad got one in '81 and restored it during my highschool years. Had 389 Tri-Power, Borg-Warner T-10 4-speed, 8-lug aluminum wheels, power windows. For a big car it was pretty quick too. Loved Pontiac's ever since. Thanks for showing the Grand Prix some well deserved love my friend, Semper Fidelis!

Nice car....Pontiac was dying in the 50s. It was called and old man's car. In the late 50s when I was still a tyke, neighbors up the street had a gray and white 55' Pontiac. They were an old couple. My father at the time a WW2 vet and still a young man had a 55' Olds Rocket 88 2 door H/T. Now that was a 50's bad ass classic. Please do a review on one.

I had a 63 GP. .I liked the front end horizontal headlights better of the 62. But the 63 almost hidden tail lights were much sportier. Mine was like a GM midnight blue with blue interior. The sport lux interior on these were state of the art in their time. Mine was a 389 automatic. It could really burn a lot of rubber because it was so darn heavy. It was simply too heavy to be considered fast. The 421 Bonnies were fairly fast for their time.
