Herbert has to be the most gracious and humble player in the NFL at his elite talent level. He is always so kind, well spoken and never ever gives himself credit for his success, he always deflects that to his receivers, his linemen and his coaches. Herbert is just the best.

Herbert seems like a good kid
As a Duck’s fan I loved to watch him play and knew he would be a great quarterback for my team the Chargers. Staley has let him play the way he did in college and that meant going for it on 4th down. He owns 4th down, his new nickname is El Caballo Blanco!

I think every situation is different and everything is balance and big difference between being aggressive or smart or just reckless.
I like that aggressive mentality but I think depending on the situation and opponents weaknesses u make certain decisions

Naw his coach didn’t. Staley actually believed in him unlike lynn did and if you use that timeout was called, the raiders were about to kneel after that big run, they werent going to kneel, it’s more his defense screwed him

Herbert isn't going to play many playoff games or any Super Bowls thinking like this . Sometimes you gotta back up , punt , play defense . The Sunday night game was great but thats an anomaly. .........most games you are not gonna make 5 4th downs in a row in the 4th quarter . Staley went for it wayyyyy to many times .
You dont get it, his defense was ranked 31st in the league. I, just like staley, wouldnt have faith in them making a stop. Which is why he went for it so much. Obviously if they have a good defence the coach will not risk it as much.
