Sean always seemed genuinely fond of the likes of Rosie, Roisin Conaty and Harriet Kemsley (the latter in a bemused dad kind of way), so every time people say a mean word about women comedians like Rosie, I like to remember that someone like Sean cared enough to act like he enjoyed their comedy/company, even if it were merely a professional courtesy
That's the worst thing with clips of Cats Does Countdown, he makes you laugh and then you remember he's passed away.

Her name is Kathy Burke. Shes an absolute comedy legend. There is a cats does countdown youtube video dedicated to her on cats countdown
Kathy Burke is comedy royalty in my book, and I'm sure a lot of the other comedians on the show thought so. She was very influential on the way British sketch shows have panned out over the last three decades. She's always been near the top of comedians I'd like to go for a pint with. She's just naturally funny. It almost seems like she's in character all the time.

Channel 4 know what they are doing here. They know that by calling the video 'Female Comedians Absolutely BOSSING It', they will attract a mixture of people who actually want to see female comedians, people who want to see comedians full stop (regardless of gender), and people who will probably write 'women aren't funny' without actually watching the video. They know they'll get all those people and that the third group will spout sexist bile, but they don't care because it all counts as comments/views and general traffic to their channel.

6 minutes deep, havent laughed at any of the jokes (ive experienced most of these jokes 3-4 times already from the shows and other compilations), ill let you know when theres one thats still funny

The women here got sympathy laughs, the fake laughing to avoid the cringy silence that happens when you put on three wigs and say "bon soir" as a punchline (interestingly her other joke attempt involved acting like Jimmy Carr told unfunny jokes....) .
The woman after that thought she'd act as a cool guy/man but then acted as women also act when sitting around other women. "Who's seen a ladies bottom.." ? She thought ' i have no joke creating ability/talent so i'll just do more anti man propaganda/show men as negative /show women as positive propaganda.
Katherine Ryan brought up being abused by a dangerous sexual degenerates actions as a funny thing. Like how Chris Rock brought up alopecia suffering with his joke attempt. These people are used to attack people with medical conditions with harassment/bullying so disabled people are treated negatively in society and the anti 'white' and anti male propaganda is to keep that group treated negatively.
Where are all the dislikes? it's themtube, fake AF. You must have more dislikes than the 53 likes it shows. Get tf off tv/internet media if you are being used as an anti human propaganda tool like these fake stand ups. Really enjoying these British celebrity game shows but can't understand why sometimes there are all male participants or only one or two women. There are some absolutely brilliantly funny women and they never get a look in due to "old boy's network" syndrome

Why did the others not have a doll? There is nothing wrong with giving attention to certain people and those who are under-represented. There is a difference between 'best of sean lock', 'best of roisin' etc etc and 'best of this gender' you can celebrate the individual for the style they bring to comedy. if i find a best of male comedy specifically id say the same thing cos my opinion stands, it divides instead of celebrates (this of course is not the same as best of say bill burr, frankie boyle, jim jefferies which arent grouped for gender but for content of their material.)(or things like best of tom segura, bert kreischer which are group cos they are close friends)
i do agree with you about the under representation point though, i had not thought about that so thank you. i was focused with the way the video seemed kind of "hey look at these female comedians who are BOSSING it, women can be funny, see?! which wasnt helped by people boasting how they didnt laugh in the comments, i guess i just prefer organic videos where all comedians are mixed together and being funny together where these thoughts would never even cross peoples minds because the focus is comedy, like NORMAL videos. but as you said, exposure for lesser known/ under represented comedians is important, they should really make videos compiling under represented and up and coming comedians that people should know of if they havent already

Hes got a story about not being able to go see live stand up comedy. If he laughs, the comedian on stage knows he’s in, and takes the piss. If he doesn’t laugh but the comedian knows he’s in, it is devastating to the comedian.
He told the story on Alan Davies As Yet Untitled about going to a small gig of Nick Helm’s. Think it was jonglers, it was one of the comedy clubs in London. He snuck in the back after the lights went down so he wasnt seen and kept his laugh stifled. That was until Nick did something that jimmy thought was hilarious and he couldnt help laughing loudly. nick heard it, stopped the show, looked up and absolutely deadpan said “Alright Jimmy? I don’t laugh when i come to see your shows.”😮🔥

He told that degenerate Letterman that did what weinstein did to many young female staff that he changed his laugh and laughed at unfunny people because they were also celebs and in that rich celeb circle. He said it as a joke but many people do that, that's why Carr does laughs at not funny things and sounds the way he sounds when laughing. You can watch Carrey interview where he does his new laugh for letterman.

Like even when rosin though she spelled "news" and there was no W or when she was dying laughing at jimmy because she brought a cake in as a mascott.. those were actually funny moments. Rachels story about susie stealing her clothes is pretty good.
