Canada here . Is it best to do the charcoal vinegar together or sepratly to the chickens one in food one in water? Is it beneficial to have the charcoal and vinegar soak awhile together before feeding ?

@@PoultryInsider.Africa thank you for your response. I'm wondering if soaking the charcoal in vinegar helps the vinegar travel further through the digestive system before being released. It seems to foam up when the vinegar is added.

@@mattg6472Aloha Matt. I was wondering how your supposed to mix what I would think is a small wet glob into the feed as well. My chickens love my Kumbucha scoby’s . I add some rain water and then spin it to a slushy in my Nutri Ninja. My best days begin and end with a fire so I have plenty of charcoal. I had already wondered if ash would be good for them although I had not tried it yet. And since chicks and I both consume the occasional Kumbucha vinegar that occurs when I don’t harvest it in time, and charcoal for toxins, I hope you will share your experience with the combo. Did you find it beneficial? Mahalo

The rate of mixing vinegar and charcoal is, 1Liter of Vinegar with 2Kgs of wood charcoal powder. Then the mixture of the vinegar and charcoal powder is to be added at a rate of 15g into each kg of the chicken feed.
