VKunia you gotta remember that Chuck and Howard are lawyers. Their job is to get and keep clients. there is absolutely nothing wrong with a lawfirm trying their best to keep a client, and especially when it's as major as Mesa Verde. There are a lot of nuances in the breaking bad universe, so even though ego/spite might play a part in why they are so activly trying to keep Mesa Verde, I highly doubt that that's at the same concern as the other benefits that they would lose from losing the client, such as monetary gain for example :)

Hey V, since I know you're further ahead with the show on Patreon, I wanted to say that before starting the FINAL season of the show, you should rewatch the Breaking Bad episode 2x8 where Jimmy (Saul) first debuted because it will help you see things in a new perspective.
Whats sad is, Chuck wouldn't have felt that badly about losing their client if it was only to Kim. But its because Kim is involved with Jimmy, he couldn't stand that. He doesn't trust Jimmy to do anything in the "proper" way when it comes to the law. And why? Because for years he blamed Jimmy for ruining their dad's business, thinking he stole thousands over the years, when it was mostly their dad just giving money away to randos because he had a soft heart. Its always "Slippin' Jimmy, the scam artist", Chuck will never see Jimmy as anything else. Its really sad, especially being his own brother.
I feel like you're implying too much spite on the part of HHM with the Mesa Verde case, sure there likely is an element of that but the bigger issue for them is it's a major buisness that they don't want to lose as a client for financial reasons. Plus if word gets around that their firm lost a major client to a solo practitioner it hurts their brand identity.
I think the women in this show are not as gullible as they seem. Both Mike's daughter-in-law and Kim must know where the money will come from for the house and the office rent yet they decide to turn a blind eye towards that.
I have to agree, I would have gone with kim as well. His delivery was totally fair and direct, no elaborate metaphors or analogies or stories to distract from the real point, like Jimmys method. This was not like jimmy at all and just a professional pitch

@@FictitiousCtrlGames That's totally true, the whole point of this universe is that there isn't a good guy or a bad guy. She doesn't seem to be doing that, she just seems to be applauding it. Which, to me, is just missing the point.
I wouldn't necessarily say that. He wasn't breaking the law by his expressive commercials or colorful suits, but that isn't how normal lawyers act. How does vkunia know so much about the air force? Were her parents in the military?
We all love kim😭🖤
Jimmy is indeed, not a good guy, as you will see.
BIKER BOYZ is a great movie you should react to you won't regret it
i hadn't noticed that you wen't full Marie.
lowkey love me some Suzanne Ericson :D
You look lovely in purple. Or is it lavender?
Carton of cigarettes is cheap cause it's like the 1960s or something.
"colorful approach" in this case is actually breaking the law. Funny to see people more inclined to defend Jimmy just because he's not killing people even though he's clearly breaking the law.
One thing that the show argues is that breaking the law isn't always morally dark.
@@FictitiousCtrlGames That's totally true, the whole point of this universe is that there isn't a good guy or a bad guy. But that's the thing, it's all grey, you see the objectively bad things these characters do, but understand their reasoning and intentions, and justify it in a grey zone. She doesn't seem to be doing that, she just seems to be applauding it. Which, to me, is just missing the point.
@@TheWonderfulBlake I was too tbf. In his mind he's protecting his lady.
@@FictitiousCtrlGames By doing something she would totally hate.
I wouldn't necessarily say that. He wasn't breaking the law by his expressive commercials or colorful suits, but that isn't how normal lawyers act. Jimmy does the not-normal and often legally gray area (As in technically legal but very weird) things all the time. I don't think Kim actually meant regularly breaking the law though
Kim is the best
Pls watch a k-drama series "See you in my 19th life"
why would anyone applaud jimmy for that 😭its almost psychotic lol chuck did nothing wrong by winning mesa verde through a totally professional pitch even if he is spiteful against jimmy. jimmy shouldve just let it go
Jimmy gets main character passes from reactors. Even though they all know he's a scumbag. Combo of randomness and good writing.
I was a little surprised V immediately assumed Chuck tried to keep Mesa Verde JUST to spite Jimmy and that there was no other reason for him to do so. Mesa Verde is one of their firm's biggest clients, it'd be nonsensical for Chuck NOT to try to convince Mesa Verde of staying.
Because he's the main character. It's not nearly as bad as some of the things people applaud Walter White for
Vicky, I'm not sure I'd call US border enforcement "amazingly thorough." In fact, I'm sure I wouldn't.
are you going to go pack to watching the boys?
*HIGH RECOMMENDATIONS*
*Please React Movie - "My Name Is Khan"*
"I gotta applaud Jimmy" on committing a felony.
