you were asking how they knew so much about Jesse that he was part of the manhunt - you may remember at the end of BB when he gave the video deposition to Hank and Gomez and then Jack and his men ransacked Hank and Marie's house - it is likely that while police were going through the mess at Jack;s hideout, they could have come across the video that Jack and his men were watching when Jack wanted to go and kill Jesse but Todd convinced him to keep Jesse alive to keep cooking

To be fair, Walt wasn't "chilling with his family" the whole time Jesse was in captivity. Walt pretty much immediately went into hiding after Jack's gang took Jesse. The radio mentioned a six month manhunt for Walt, so that's how long Jesse was captive for.

He walked away from Grey matter because of Gretchen, he sold his stake to them and walked away after the breakup due to pride and not being able to work with someone he was in love with. After that teaching was all he could really do, he had to work a carwash because at 50 he's having a baby he didn't think would happen and had to do what he had to do.. He's been on auto pilot for 20+ years.. I get it.. If i woke up tomorrow and found out I was the absolute best at something at 41 years old after thinking I had no talent and was nothing more than a dead-end, low pay low skill job.. I'd grasp it with both hands and ride it straight to hell.

Watching Jesse go to Alaska in the end was really satisfying to me , i just cant express how much i love him cause he has got to be one the most sympathetic tv character’s of all time considering that how much hell he has gone through but despite that he alway’s kept his humanity unlike most of the other character’s in Breaking Bad , Jesse is not a saint of course but he’s not a demon either cause he does have good in him and now that he’s free from the drug world , now he can show the good that he has inside of him even more and spent the rest of his life being a better person.

Breaking Bad has always had that subtle neo-western style to it. A modern tale with bandits, anti heroes, gun-slingers and sheriffs. But this movie really brought out the western of it all. Jesse using everything Mike and Walt taught him, to get out of the bad situation, and ride into the sunset. What an ending to his story. Sure he had sins on his soul, but I think Jesse had the most positive transformation in the show, as he truly was the sincere heart of the cast. His ability to feel guilt, his torture, and his loyalty to others, all of those things made him a better person. So crazy to compare Season 1 episode 1 Jesse, to what he has become in El Camino. A tortured soul, who can appreciate just being alive and free.
Also, there is a bunch of deleted material to this movie, some of it available. My favorite scene being the one where Ed the disappearer finds Jesse next to his shop in the morning, and Jesse has a hard time giving away his gun, bug Ed tells him that he does not need it anymore. Wish they kept it in, as it really showed how Jesse has a hard time believing that he can let go of the ugliness of the criminal world.

I just wanted to say how brilliant it was to have Skinny Pete give Jesse his cap. 4:07 - "All while Walt was chilling with his family and running the car wash and what not. He didn't know what Jesse was doing". I'm going to give you free advise: If you're not going to think before you speak, don't say anything at all. By the time Jesse was taken as a slave by Jack and Todd and the rest of the crew, Walt was trying to get back home to take Skyler and Junior/Flinn to be on the run with him after Marie confronted Skyler to tell Flinn the truth. This was when Walt went on the run hiding from the authorities. Do Not say "I'm such a dummy" like it's cute or an attractive quality, because it is not. Please do better and get the facts right.

Psychopathy (primary psychopathy) is characterized by low anxiety and thought to result from a genetic predisposition. Sociopathy (secondary psychopathy) is characterized by high anxiety and thought to develop in response to environmental adversity, such childhood trauma. In other words, psychopaths were born that way and tend to be calmer, whereas sociopaths were made that way and tend to be more aggressive.
Psychopathy and Sociopathy are somewhat outdated terms. Today, the conditions are more properly referred to as primary and secondary psychopathy, or both can be referred to as Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD).

The reason the cops sent that many officers is that when a high-risk potentially dangerous suspect is being apprehended, they know that if the suspect is likely facing long prison time, they might try to shoot it out. The absurdity large number of officers serve two purposes: 1 ensure their own victory in a gun fight if there is one and 2 be so great a number that the suspect gives up on even trying to fight because there would be no way to win.

It's been almost 5 years since Robert Forster passed away when "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie" was released. He was great in BB, BCS and "El Camino", but his Oscar-nominated performance in "Jackie Brown" redefined his acting career. RIP, good sir. You will be missed.🙏🏻

I don't think it was the meth that Walt really focused on when he was mentioning "something special". I think it was his quality of meth and how it was received in the community. It out performed literally every option on the market. It was the best. Something he lost the chance to be when he was bitter and ran away from the Grey Matter company before that company became renowned in the scientific community because of the work that Walter helped found. Walt in his early life had that chance and missed it. Jesse, who absorbed his teachings and could practically match the quality of Walt's meth achieved that "best" status as well as far as Walt was concerned I think and Jesse achieved it when Walt thinks he should have.

It has been a wonderful ride, going back and watching your reactions to the entire Breaking Bad story. The entire Breaking Bad story - from Walter's journey and metamorphosis into Heisenberg to Jesse's redemption arc to Mike's tragic end to....well you'll see what ultimately happens with Saul - may be one of the greatest to have ever been told in the history of television. It is truly a work of art and I feel honored to have had witnessed it, as I'm sure you do as well V. I think if I were ever in a position where I had to start a new life somewhere, I'd probably choose upstate New York. It's quiet, it's peaceful from what I've read, and it's not that far from the city. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the second half of this wonderful journey.

This was ultimately the final role of Robert Forster, who played Ed the Disappearer. He unfortunately passed away the exact day El Camino was released. Also, I love that part where he calls the cops and the car just pulls up in the background while Jesse's trying to call him out for faking it 😂 but he still gives Jesse a chance to get the rest of the money by lying to the police

the opening scene with Mike is a "missing scene" from Breaking bad 5x06. right after Jesse who is still broken up about the kid on the dirt bike and sees Walt joyfully whistle to himself, he receives a phone call. then in the episode we see Jesse & Mike telling Walt they are out of the business. and here we see them both preparing to tell him.

12:18 a very sad scene, definitely all about the trauma and enslavement. It’s true there are practical reasons for Brock’s sake to surrender, but I think this is more about the trauma and confusion.
In terms of practicality: Todd clearly knew he had time to do all this without Jack finding out, so Jesse could probably kill Todd and go take Brock somewhere safe?
On the other hand Jesse doesn’t know where exactly where they are right here.

24:20 I honestly never understand why people care for Walter so much, he turned into such a heartless psycho. His deeds towards the end saving Jesse doesn't come close to redemption at all. He's such a horrible person and I don't understand why people look past that.

I mean when it comes to main characters its these 2 guys getting the spotlight and everyone follows that spotlight and attaches to it throughout and at this scenario you gotta root for the villains to accoplish plus they are a very likable duo unless your not into that type of personalities, in other cases everyone just loves a good actor like bryan cranston and aaron paul, and afterall this indeed could happen in the real world but the series is nothing but a scripted story and fiction so its no surprise everyone cares for main characters because their the characters to follow and know more along the way its not like this entire series wasn't phsycotic from the start.

  • @kendallbrown2904

To answer your question about how they knew about Jesse is because those guys Jack and Todd had those recordings of Jesse talking about all of the stuff they did while working as a crew. Also it took me way longer to recognize Todd than it should have in this movie because he gained enough weight between the show and this movie that his face just looked so round compared to when he was on the show

The reason there’s a manhunt for Jesse like we see in the film is due to Hank and Gomez are dead. When federal officers are killed trying to take down a kingpin like Walt, the police are going in big on someone. Because Walt is now dead and he was looked at as the one who killed them both, they’re going after whoever was associated with Walt, which would be Jesse and Saul, while Jesse would have his fingerprints on various items at Jack’s compound, such as on the gun Walt slid to Jesse. Since Jesse had been arrested before, they’d have his fingerprints. Plus, they might have the tape that Jack and his crew stole from Hank and Marie’s, which would also indicate Jesse was there aside from fingerprints.

The money Skinny Pete and Badger handed over was the remainder of what they had left for doing the laser pointer thing for Walt. Walt saw them maybe 2 or 3 days before this, and they see Jesse the night Walt dies. Walt's money went to his family. Jesse was family.
