theres nothing at all annoying about watching and listening to such a skilled artisan sharing his love of weaving. LOVE to watch this....thanks for sharing-its absolutely beautiful.
Hi. we planted hazel, white willow, basket willow, ash and chestnut in a 2 acre coppice on our land, with basket, hurdle making and similar things in mind. We don't yet have time, but the trees are growimg we hope to find time later, perhaps in semi-retirement, to learn these underwood skills. These old time skills will become vital as the oil runs out. please keep posting these videos, will see about coming on a course.
Glad to see that this fantastic craft is alive and well in England. If it was'nt so ##@#! cold there I'd return to my homeland to wallow amongst the willow and weave away through wetirement! To hot to grow here. Great video.

Traditional, creative, craft done with an obvious passion and joy. Thank you so very much for sharing your craft and skill with us all. :-)
Good insight into something that is obviously a very very old craft.
What a beautiful life!
What did he say about how he keeps mulch down

A whole lot of lipsmacking going on.......
Please think a bit of how much you ahmm, and lip smacking. It is a bit annoying to hear more of that than the information you should get across.
I went to collage to get my PhD in basket weaving, and today I head the Democrat Party in my state.
