Thank you for taking the time to make this video! It was so clear and straight forward. I was looking for a tutorial on how to start and do French randing and couldn't find anything and this was totally clear and perfect. Teaching a group of 25 kids at an outdoor school here on Canada's west coast. Much gratitude.

These videos are great and educational. Hope we see more techniques and styles of baskets in the future. It's an art that should be revived and brought to it's originl status along with other nearly extinct trades. Awesome job guys and a lot of appreciation. Thank you!

Thank you ~ So excited I found these videos ~ I started going to different workshops and one needs to practice much more to remember all the different techniques. Most classes do not give out handouts (only my hare workshop did) ~ Unfortunately my hand, arm, neck went funny (so had a year off) and now going to make a light house sculpture for "Musicport" so I need some reminders and ideas to start off ~ I love this channel and subscribed. It's a great way to keep these ancient skills alive and working in this way with natural materials aided me to find my soul again after years of depression ~

Thank you. I learned from a book and had problems because of missing one piece of information. Hold the rod down with the left hand!! I just couldn’t get my lines of rods to come out straight because of that! As Homer Simpson would say, “DOH!”
    SO, THANK YOU so much!!!

Great vid, would you like to come to Portugal and give some work shops, I know people here that are wanting to learn this.

+jgkiwiYes! Sounds great! I could come over for a 2/3 day course? Where abouts are you in Portugal? Do you have willow there? If you can tease out a few more details, maybe we can arrange something. Thanks a lot, Brendan
