Tiago JTP discontinued, Baleno RS discontinued. Not a good idea for Sasta mindset in this range. Rather Tata, Skoda, Hyundai should work to keep the engine more refined like the Japanese and Volkswagen do.

@Pravi's Era what you couldn't understand was Hyundai keeps its engines underpowered which contributes towards lesser noise and smoother engine. If Hyundai was utilizing optimum power from their engines then they'ould be loud.

This was my favorite car back in the days i still remember, i begged by dad to buy this car we didn't have the budget then we bought a zen estilo sports.
Even after buying that car i had gone to skoda showroom just to sit in the car and get the feel.

One of my uncle had a Diesel one. It's performance was awesome. He used to drive it weekly from his work to his home which is almost 200+ KMs and he takes only 3 hours to come. 😂 The Power it offers is Phenomenal ♥️
Fabia had tank like build quality and excellent paint job. Those plying on the roads, even a decade old ones, still look as good as new. Those who wanted a peppy engine went for the 1.6 litre version which later found place in the Rapid. Sad that Fabia was discontinued in India though the newer generations of Fabia in the west are doing roaring business.

You can use the feature by using physical key lock/unlock not by remote.
that feature is there in my fabia 2010. the car in the video has a worn out clutch and aftermarket locking mech. 1st gear still reaches 60kmph
I have a white skoda fabia htp and it has been 10 years and still it hasnt broke down or give any problems hats off to skoda for the build quality really love it
There was also a 4 cylinder petrol that came with a sunroof, projector zenon headlights, an armrest and some nifty extra features. Also the auto window does work on the Fabia. There was a software update which enabled you to do that. If you put the key in the door lock and turn it towards the unlock position and hold it, all the windows will go down. The VCDS update just enables you to use the same feature on the remote. A lot of owners weren't aware of it and never got it done. For it's time, it also came with heated mirrors, adjustable seatbelts, speakers with tweeters, parking ticket holder, one touch up and down function for all windows , front and rear roof lamps, sunglass holder, height adjustable driver and passenger seat, steering adjustment for rake and reach and a cooled glovebox.
The l&k varient which came with the sunroof was having Projector headlamps with HID , and her brother (polo ) came with none of these and it still doesn’t get any of these , but it’s still is a great car to drive
I think you should have mentioned that in the next gen fabia they got the 1.6 petrol engine with 105bhp and 156 mm torque. 105 bhp was what a GT tsi developed in the previous gen GT. And this version of Fabia is near perfect even for today's times.
An underrated amazing city car!!! Too bad it didn't sell well here. However, Škoda is considering to launch their 2020 Fabia in India. I hope the table then turn for the good!
I own a skoda Fabia and Rapid for last 8 years both car's have done around 1,40,000km still running good had some small issues but rest all good
The new Fabia and Polo launched in international markets should be launched in India too, it would honestly go very well with the Kushaq and Slavia, or the Taigun and Vitrus respectively. Too bad they discontinued the Polo :(

Faisal I owned a Skoda Fabia Elegance Diesel. It was a 1.4 TDI PD (Turbo Diesel Injection - Pump Duese Techonology) it was an extremely peppy engine. The car was ahead of its time in terms of safety and built quality was top notch. The only disadvantage was the engine was a bit noisy and the maintenance was too high for the car of this size. I can assure you colliding Skoda and any other hatch, people in Skoda would be safe.

Yes good punch and extremely good mileage. The highest that i have got on my Fabia diesel is 27 on the highway. From Blr to Vellore

I'm driving Fabia htp petrol since 2012 aur aaj bhi waisi hi chal rahi hai jaisi li thi tab chalti thi.
Iski trained workmanship nahi hai India me isliye logo ko problem jaati hai i know service part me but kabhi koi breakdown nahi, Na colour gaya na rusting hui abhi tak superb built quality.
The best hatchback i saw till now...
To bring the windows up or down.. put the key in door and turn and hold to left and right.. u will see the skoda magic :)

Please check out the newer 1.6 Fabia. Solved the power problem, but the suspension wasn't upgraded. Mine has done 1.2L kms.

The Skoda Fabia was a great car but due to its predominantly European car characteristics and Skoda never adapting it for the Indian market it was bound to fail miserably. Nevertheless a terrific car and a great review as always by Faisal Bhai!

It is having most advanced features back in 2009. The car you have to drive is top end 1.6litre and that is top end. Window up n down is available in top variant. This car you are driving is middle variant.

I have a 2008 Fabia 1.4 TDI Elegance, the one with a sunroof, projector headlights, heated mirrors, etc etc. Over the years Ive get mostly everything changed in order to get the car as close to showroom condition as possible. Let me know if you want to come drive it someday.

stick the key in and turn it anti clockwise and keep it there. thats how all windows came down. clockwise to roll them up.

I own a 1.2ftp the engine is not as bad as you say. Comparing it with a tiago the tiago engine is just dead in front of fabia. I think my 1.2htp is so much fun to drive and gets to 120kmph so easily and good for city driving too.
