i had a situation like this before. a girl killed herself in my team for school in like 5th grade. i didn’t know her, but i heard she was very quiet. when i watched this anime it reminded me of her. it made me think that i had a chance to change her fate if i had stepped in her life. this anime hits on a whole other level. 10/10 recommended it to everyone i know.

This anime is so Bittersweet that it hurts. Its one of those where you wanna keep watching it but every time you do, you only get sadder and it hurts but its beautiful. Kayo and Satoru, i wanna be in your world, where there arent people judging me or bullying, where i can be myself and be with human people like Satoru and Kayo. But it is a town without me, and therefor everytime i think of this world i get both happy and sad, and it hurts like a knife to the heart, that all these people in this story are just fictive charcters in a winter month a place far away in the imagination of your own mind. The thought that Satoru and Kayo never got together again, is even more heartbreaking, it makes this world even more forgotten only in the hearts of us people, and more painful to think about. I wanna go to a place like this world where everyone has a higher purpose and a goal, where we all are together to achieve this higher purpose and there is no one left behind. Where we are not afriad and everyones love warms hands and hearts in the winter months like the people in this world stayed warm in the winter. But we will never go to this world, so we can only dream and imagine to come to the places we want, even though it might hurt, to not be there standing physically. I hope you have a great day guys ❤️

Such legendary music/shows make you realize what's just going on in this world right now... It's terrible but it's a fact that our world is rotten. From little conflicts/arguments to world wars - we were never satisfied with what we had/have and will never be able to still our thirst of greed. To come back to the music: It's the conveyance of music that makes you familiar with what's truly crucial in life and opens your mind.. Music is necessary to show people satisfaction. Day 1: I wanted to do something like the diary thing that people do. Erased will forever be my favorite anime. It was what I needed to see. And I'll never regret watching it.
I have seen an anime that made me cry so hard since sailor moon....I'll never forget erased.it will never fade as it helped me in a time where I was dead with depression and felt empty
I can relate to this. Was dealing with suicidal thoughts, sleep paralysis and a psychological trauma. After seeing this, just recovered my faith in life.
This ost is soothing but so sad at the same time. It just makes me reminisce about past good times in my life. Getting older is so bittersweet I tell ya.
Erased is a masterpiece, it's story is just.. So beautiful and very emotional anime, and also psychological..The OP, the ending son and the OST are marvelous, especially this song.. So much feelings are in it.. The best animé that I have ever seen

This music definitely sets the mood, I truly enjoyed watching this show. I actually chose it out of desire to watch something new, The 1st 2 episodes inched me in a bit but then the episodes that evolved around Keyo got me good 😢.
If only the ending was different, not waiting for Satoru in a coma, but he bouncing back to 2006 after solving who the murder was and giving the info to the police; then meeting with an older Kayo.. :( That would've made me so happy.

This has appeared in my youtube feed after 8 years. I haven't watched it ever since. I have a very happy married life, nothing to comment, or to be sad about. I have no reason to go to nostalgia, or to be sad about. Yet, very many 30 years ago I saved the "Kayo" of my life so to say, from the very close fate. The memories haunt me ever since. But there is no real conflict in me, and I wouldn't go back, and I feel that I have done right. And for some reason I keep remembering.

You know this anime some of it is like a bit semblence on my past yet my life like back then i was alone and bullyed and Here at home im sometimes well triggered from a domestic verbal abuse but not the physical one because they are so strick here in the philippines and yeah back then little did i know i have few real friends but some of em are not so real after all but today i manage to get real friends and i dont even know if the others want me as their friend wether they like it of not. When Satoru started to stay in parallel universe, actually he's alone. His mother actually die, and he even does'nt have friends in his universe, except Airi. Then they met again for first time under the bridge, that's scene very emotional for me.
Yeah, although it's different from the manga and some were not happy Airi got less screen time near the end, it kept me wondering what had happened to her, and it gave a nice ending to the season, with a message of hope.
