It really does look like the perfect sketching set for the city! Your cat art is so great! I think they would make great book illustrations, if you haven't done that already. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! :D I've thought about making the drawings into books, or writing and illustrating little stories, but I haven't made these a reality yet :)
I LOVE that Quin Yellow. I know this isn't to everyone's taste, but full strength it's practically neon/acid yellow which is what I like in a cool yellow. I use that, Bismuth Orange, and Quin Gold as my yellows in my personal Roman Szmal Aquarius palette. I love their paints and those handfilled pans. They're up there with Daniel Smith and DaVinci as my workhorse paints.
Ooo, I'll have to check out these three colors together, that sounds really nice!! Especially bismuth orange, I feel like that's not a very common color choice!
I LOVE the versatility of this set! I think it's even better than the original 12 set honestly. I also love the sky blue, it makes for super easy smooth blue skies without so much staining to manage from the Phthalo blue. Quite nice. I have a video using these on my channel, it's the bullfinch video.
This looks like lovely versatile set, not only for urban sketching. I always wanted to try Roman Szmal watercolours and might be tempted with this set - I just have so many paints already😅
Discovered the wonderful Ultramarine Intense of Roman Szmal through this set and It has since become my favourite besides the classic French Ultramarine (which is more granulating). Never thought I would have two Ultramarines in my palette but nothing I have tried so far comes close so I think it makes sense.
Thank yoy for the review, I love roman szmal and one of my friends started painting with watercolor and was wondering if I should get her one of their smaller sets 😊
I love your reviews - but what I said last time is that your pictures are really beautiful and so are the swatches - and you also show it into the camera and discuss it. BUT I would soooo much rather see it PAINTED in front of the camera!! so you can learn a few tricks! And I would also really like to see how the swatches are created, how they work out, etc. That's what I meant in my last comment. And I think many people would be happy about that! Especially because your art is truly GORGEOUS!! Of course you definitely want to see how it is created in front of the camera!
Thank you so much! I used to include a timelapse of me painting the drawings in my videos, but those segments were a lot of work to film and they were also the segments that watchers would skip the most. I decided to not include them anymore, at least not until I can make them more interesting to watch through. I draw and sometimes paint during the Saturday (Caturday) Livestreams, on the livestream channel :) I'll keep your feedback in mind though, and thank you so much for the kind words :)
@@EveBolt i watch a decent amount of artits (99% of the ppl i follow are artists)and most of them include some clips, not the whole speedpaint, so maybe you could just see how other artists do them and take ispiration! If not that's fine :)) The ones i found pleasent to watch are Sparkle draws's speedpaints, so if you want you can check hers out
I think this is also a great set for beginners! Just enough to learn colour mixing and some convenience.
True! That's a very good point :)
These look so stunning, I love your reviews ☺☺
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy them :3

@@EveBolt I really think they would do well! I've often wondered the story behind the images... ♥

I've been curious about this set. Thanks for your review, Eve!

The sky blue is such a nice color, I'm really glad it was included in this set!

Having so many paints is a feeling I know well (too well?) XD
My rationalization is that as long as I use paints, I can get paints, hehe ;)
@@EveBolt So true! I will paint more to deserve more paints 😂
@@brigitteitg Yeeessssss!!! :D 👍👍

It definitely makes sense! The textures are so different between a smooth and a granulating color, both can have their use in a palette! :D
OMG, I have this set and I am so excited to see you use it! 😍
It's such a pretty set!! I really like this color selection :D
@@EveBolt Same! the dark green and buff titanium is what I was missing in my other palettes, for sure :D

That would make for a lovely gift! Or an assortment of pans in their favorite colors, if you're looking for a more "budget" option :)
This is gorgeous. But I already have the Jane Blundell 24 full pans set. So I probably skip this one. 😅
Very informative as usual!
Glad you think so! Thank you so much :)
That is such a beautiful palette

I missed this?
Seems like it! I was weirded out by not seeing a first/not first comment on it... Like, are you ok? XD
@@EveBolt Why does everyone assume the worst when I’m not first 😂.
lol! well, not the worst, but it's unusual XD
