you don't even need the joystick in this mission, because al you got to do is follow the heading and altitude the tower tells you, and press the approach button, and the plane land itself. It's realy the easiest mission in the whole sim.
I just completed this mission, I actually didn't have much clue on what I was doing, didn't know all the indicators of the 747, but somehow when I got under the clouds I saw the airport, it was saying ''Don't sink'' and the co-pilot said ''Brace yourselves!'' lol, my landing gear swiped the ocean but I managed to get altitude, and then there was the runway and did a pretty good landing.
yes he would have gone around in real life. but to those who are going like: oh the landing was so bad... well, have u tried to land in a heavy crosswind in either simulator or real life? he did float about the runway but it was very close to the centre line.
Hi, no im not mad just sayig my opinion ,don't worry im still a noob with FSX so maybe thats why i can't be the one to say good or bad thinks about . cool video after all , maybe one day ill make my ladnig video . Have a nice day and blue skies .
what i really meant was that he wasn't too high to have to declare a missed approach. he was a bit too high indeed (look at that glideslope indicator :D)
Thanks, and um try landing smoothly on this conditions, first I had crosswinds, second the landing wasn't hard, third its a huge runway, so no need to land directly, yea I know I glide a lot, tho I landed and passengers were safe, umad ?
Hi , nice video after all (maybe bcos its in HD) as a noob pilot in FSX i have to say the landing was bad as hell, i didnt play sound all time but why don't you use ILS? ather then that if you can't use ILS so why you was so fast ? hm.. well ill give you A+ just for video edit and time what you spend it to make it but for the fly itself no score at all , sorry .
***** you are suppose to set your airplane on the localizer and glide slope, so you don't need to see the runway until the last few hundred meters, where it does come into sight

+3DPeter It's definitely the easiest mission in FSX - even easier than the first mission.

Me too, then I found out that it is an ils approach...
how did you solve it can you tell us pls
Didnt follow the glide path landed way too late lucky thats a long runway.
Agree
Jack C watch out, we got a badass over here
+Jack C yea with a cesssna
Sully Orchestration 🤣🤣
You good at this man

+TheNigerianTiger He floated for ages, and there isn't really much of a crosswind in that approach, it's just turbulent.
George Gardiner Not much crosswind? Shit, what's much then
TheNigerianTiger I did the mission to and it seemed like there was a heavy up draft so it's not his fault!
I did enjoyed the video, well done!!!

Yep! You should have gone around if it was in real life, you were too high. Rough conditions though...
Yep! he wasn't too high at all, just too fast, hence the "float" over the runway when he flared for landing
what i really meant was that he wasn't too high to have to declare a missed approach. he was a bit too high indeed (look at that glideslope indicator :D)
+ The game isnt realistic at all he landed with 120FT Runway ;D
You landed out of touchdown area. In real situation you will be require to initiate missed approach suddenly depending on the SOP's
hated this damn mission lmao 747 wouldnt slow down even with spoilers
the 747 physics in this game are completely broken lmao. used to drive me nuts back in the day
@@ethanwolin2580 it's true, 747s are heavy which means that they gain more velocity as they descent and are slippery so they gain speed
Excellent 👌

@ararapoly oh yes .. on this conditions it is veryy difficult to land smooth..
last time I did that mission I had to go around 2 times
Wich clouds do use in this video? In rex obv^^
how do you get your fsx to be so clear and crisp?
jesus christ iv'e never seen someone float so bad in a 747 and end up stalling
Hey I got a question, how do you super impose control panel over virtual cockpit (it's very handy)
Where’s the narrator with instructions ?

do you know what they say?
every landing you walk away from, is a good landing.
@auffy1 It's not easy to land smooth on this conditions.
You're a pro
I did this mission quite well for a rookie but what settings you have your graphics on??
jwillz1994 he has some addons that make the weather look good
The PAPI Lights were "white white white white"! Toooo High!Bad! They should be red red white white"!
Oh come on it is so hard to land in bad weather
Monitor radar display. Go around windshear ahead. (two tone) windshear! windshear! windshear!
I Know i can not wait to do this mission
why is your camera moving around like that
how do you make it like that. :D
Every FSX cooy does that, you just dont notice it when playing (if you fly with the 747 its more noticeable)
its an addon. probably ezdok or chaseplane.

My God I landed but my throttles unfortunately went on full power no matter how hard I tried to keep it in reverse thrust
Vivax Solutions close auto throttle with Ctrl+R
Yahya KR thanks for the reply helped a lot :)
normally this is a missed approach. u were wayyyy to high
hey i have an modle of a singapore plane but the its kind of in my bathroom
@PremiumAltitude yeah you maybe did but didn't land smoothly I bet.
you cant even land, runway was not visible at minimums i geuss.
***** you are suppose to set your airplane on the localizer and glide slope, so you don't need to see the runway until the last few hundred meters, where it does come into sight
Yeah but at minimums you have to land and have to confirm that you have the runway insight, only if you make a autolanding that is possible
I suggest you look at an ILS tutorial on YOutube. Then you will see it is pretty easy to do a good landing in this weather.
Yeah an autolanding but a ''visual'' landing is inpossible cause you have no ''visual'' at the runway at minimums...
***** you are not suppose to do a "visual landing"
way to much clouds
its a monsoon what do you expect lol
U were for high
Crap landing
