This band is so epic 😍. They have all the best elements of Slipknot, Korn, SOAD, and I swear Linkin Park combined... It's like being a teenager again 😅.
Couldn't agree more! I've listened to nothing but Justin's projects since I first discovered Tallah at the beginning of the year some time in February(I know, bit late for the party but better late than never!) Picked up Matriphagy on CD out of pure curiosity after seeing it pop up a few times on ebay... something about that album cover told me I wouldn't regret it and now it's easily the best 6.69 I've spent on an album in years and the obsession is only growing bigger 😂

There is next to no one other than Justin out there able to make these sounds. I think I've heard the dudes from baribusa and to the grave hit this or similar tones. A fair bit of it is aftereffects but from my understanding it's a way of screaming that brings out super high frequency over tones (similar to pig squeals but placed different in the mouth/vocal tract)
Daaamnn…. That part at 1:34 where the vocalist is deep growling and head banging in sync with his drummer was sick AF to me!! I love that kind of energy and unity as a band. All while sounding as heavy as it gets. Great work again guys!!!
The song is ridiculously heavy but I already expect that from Tallah. What makes me just laugh in disbelief everytime I hear any Tallah song, is Justin's vocal ability. This man is insane.
Great work guys. Justin’s melodies here are unpredictable but comfortable by the end of the song. Max did an amazing job keeping the beat interesting with his typical flair. Riffs were super groovy and unique, overall, but what makes them special is the hints of callbacks to earlier riffs we’ve heard in other singles. It’s like in certain sections they’re referencing previous musical themes, and I’m all for it! Opening riff is VERY good. Couldn’t keep from dancing, no matter how difficult the rhythm was to move to at first. The clean section was beautiful; holding on that key rather than changing it sooner was a great and interesting choice. Plus, Mew’s scratching right after that was just phenomenal. If the whole album is like everything you all have put out so far, paying for that huge bundle way earlier in the year will have been well worth it. Love you guys, can’t wait for the album. Wish I could see the Atilla tour! Good luck. :)

Not only the best song from the album so far, but easily the best song from the discography for now for me. Super excited for the new album and can't wait to see how the story will unfold, I'm glad that I discovered you. Keep on delivering, I hope you will get more recognition in the future!
Absolutely love your profile pic and I agree man this band are some of my closest friends and amazing I hope they get the love they deserve!
Wow thank you, I absolutely love you guys always have done from the start
MY FUCKING FAVORITE BAND FOR A REASON. The fact that I like it this much on first listen, and I know their shit are all GROWERS in addition showers.... damn. I'm floored.
And just like that, I have a new favorite song. Tallah never fails to impress and Justin's vocals never fail to motivate me. I love that man, and I love this band.
The fact that they filmed this in max's dad's garage
ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS I'VE EVER HEARD!!!!
That scream @3:39 is so satisfying!
This is my first time hearing them! They give me the exact same feeling when I first heard Mindless Self Indulgence/Slipknot/System of a Down. All those bands sounded so weird to me at first until I got used to them. 🤘🏾
Top track of the year
MOM WAKE UP, NEW TALLAH JUST DROPPED!!
never stop making music, please!
I already love the first few seconds.
Justin is a pearl in the deep sea
This song sounds almost unstable, in the best way possible, with all those weird rythms and unpredictable vocal melodies. Also absolutely disgusting breakdowns! Love it!
That final scream sounded like a kettle boiling 🤣 love it
This checks all the boxes. Amazing.
You guys are amazing. I have been obsessed with your music since Sonic Temple this summer. I couldn't resist getting deep into the mosh pit (even though I broke my nose in the pit during Knocked Loose the day before LOL). The one-take vocal performances are bananas - incredible vocal control. The Fire from the Gods one cracks me up LOL. See yall soon at CLE MOSH!!!
i feel like tallah is a mix of slipknot, periphery and linkin park i fucking love it
Amazing song. You guys took a risk with this one, and for me it hugely paid off. Love it.
The FEELING you get from Music you Hear in your ID!!!
I can’t believe I lived the last 6 hours without already hearing this. Keep the bangers coming!!!!
It took me 3 days to get ready to click on this and i still wasnt prepared for that ending, holy shit every song slaps harder than the last!
After hearing/watching the one take vocal of this on their channel I had to come back here to hear the studio version of 3:40 and I love both.
Thank you guys for bringing back the early 2000s
You guys, Currents, and Silent Planet are keeping me alive right now
Much love to you guys
love its from Thailand
That bridge fucking rules!
This band has my 100% support, finally a band that doesnt sound like every other band.
Remember back when he used to do cover songs
I hope everyone watching this band perform on stage comes out unharmed
Tallah straight up starting an empire! Can't wait for the new album, gonna be crazy!! 🔥🤘🏻
This is such a mixed bag of genres I'm floored by how amazing this is🔥
Wow. Just WOW.
interesting melody choices. it's the first song I've heard from Tallah, and I am speechless.
rewind!
That double bass slow down at 39:00 wtf was that Max?! God status. Tallah’s chorus’s make you feel like you are flying lol
Accipigna, ma con ste battute sono proprio sicuro che sei uno sfonda-papere ma over de topppp
