I've been quiet on the uploads the past month because unfortunately my old computer stopped working, but my new computer has arrived! Now I'm extra excited to catch up on some CoH games and the upcoming Orchid Spider patch. Who else is looking forward to the new patch? :)
According to youtube I'm in the 0.14% top viewers of your stuff :) I remember Jesulin playing a game that Zaney or Tightrope casted where he went Wehr Mechanized and built like 6-8 8RADS. It was a "rad" strat because with a critical mass you can wipe anything on retreat. (different patch though) Also Elpern was a big fan of the double/triple Crusader AA before their call-in time was nerfed. Yould get out 2 with a 60sec cooldown and overwhelm the DAK 8RAD/Marder meta. I feel it might work against that strat if DAK meta changes a little in 1.9.X
You must have watched heaps of my videos! :) I didn't even realize you could check that of your views. I couldn't figure out how to do it for the channels I watch, can you share how you check? Yeah the light vehicle timing pushes have had a history of being strong, but you can only get 2-3 out before tanks hit the field. It's more fair compared to the easily attainable 5-6 critical mass of the past.
great game stephenn. I think your starting capping order might be bit stronger if you send your bike to your top muni first and send your inf bottom to cap. You didn't have one of your +10s online for about 4 minutes - that 40 muni feels really important in the early game, especially when you're wanting to rush early flamer on this map.
Yeah this cap order ventures on the safe side of a securing the fuel and having all units on the same side of the map early. It's a remnant of the Dingo/Jeep rush days. I agree with your suggestion and will test it out again! :)
He didn't seem to have any indirect. Maybe an 88 could have worked? If it snares the BP it's gg. Still not sure how he was in pop cap with a BP, 2-3 crusaders, triple AT guns and a bunch of infantry. Meanwhile dak can field 2 p4s lol
An 88 can work on this map! I'm not scared of indirect fire if I go for an 88 as i constantly move them, but rather than British Forces transition Foot Guard spam that it can invite. I rather try my luck with out maneuvering my opponent with an extra tank/vehicle. Especially when you consider the population disparity that exists between DAK and Allies. That will be different in Orchid Spider though so will test the change in the new patch today! :)
