As a Vegas native I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anyone say that Wicked Spoon was better than the Wynn/Bacchanal. Spend the extra couple bucks and go Bacchanal. Much better experience especially because you’re on vacation.
How long have you lived in Vegas? Back in the the deay 1990s or earlier Bellagio was far better than any including Bacchanal. I have not had Wynn in a long time. Bellagio these days is a no go based on my last meal there. The quality that was so amazing is not there. Caesars I think is ok but as with most in Vegas overpriced. Back in the 1990s I got food poisioning in the Stardust. that was a ling flight back to Miami. The worst bufffets I have ever eaten (most were well more than 20 yrs ago) Circus Circus, Excalibur.

@@robertweisberg5570 funny enough the Rio Carnival Buffet was actually amazing back then. Kind of off to think about it every time I drive by the casino. That place is so depressing now.
As a former Vegas native I stayed away from most buffets as the food sits pretty long. That said, I would have the seafood buffet at the M on Fridays. After that pretty much only the Wynn or the Bac.

Hey UA…..you should try to figure out which shellfish you are allergic to as I know many people who allergic to shrimp/lobster/crab (not crawfish) but can eat clams, oysters, mussels, abalone, scallops, etc and one friend is vice-versa but can’t eat shrimp. Also keep consuming small amounts if you can to build a tolerance….my cousin did just that and went from being allergic to ALL shellfish at 22 and now at 37 can eat any shellfish (we honest don’t know if he built a tolerance or if he just naturally wasn’t allergic anymore but he thinks it’s the former as he made a concerted effort to consume small amounts when he could….most of the time he would have a few bites of clam chowder a shrimp or two….especially ebi sushi. Hope you can enjoy shellfish soon! Note: the sushi should be cold for safety issues….so warm/room temperature sushi is ok but the guy using his hands for the poutine is a no no 🤷🏻♂️
UA, so happy you came to Las Vegas. Currently the best buffet is only mornings and afternoons. It's at the M resort. It's $99, but has it all Racks of Lamb, Lobster Tails, Shucked shell fish, Prime Rib, It is even better than the Sterling Brunch which I think costs $129. Great health and happiness to you, UA. You made it man. You get to do what you like and inform/entertain others.
My favorite buffet was the Studio B Buffet at the M Resort. Unfortunately, it closed during Covid and never reopened. My new favorite is the buffet at the Wynn. Great selection and quality. Though the wait can be long.
@@brandoncarpenter9681 Buffets like Bacchanal are ok at best. I wouldn't waste money going to any buffet with all those filthy customers touching the same utensils.
The best thing at the Wicked Spoon is the bone marrow. IMO, the 'spoon' portions go cold quickly, if left out. If it's $40, they've reduced the cost. I ate there a year ago, and it was like $60 per person. And every casino will allow videos of their buffets.
I didnt know it was ragtine. It has some sort of quirky rythym that seems to mesgh with his reviews and personality. Its hard to explain but it definitely clicks. Other TH-camrs who may use repretive theme it seems to get in the way and be too much. Funny you should mention this and I didnt know it was ragtime.

I wonder if going during peak times means better quality food. Seems like a lot of the food you are eating has been sitting a while. Either way, love your reviews.
Timing is super important with any of these buffets. If you go right when they open, right when they switch timings (aka breakfast to lunch or lunch to dinner) things are almost always better. If you go during peak times, you are more likely to get fresher food in general, but also have stuff that will wind up having sat for too long. It's kind of weird how it works, but eh I don't know lol
Agreed. However, if you've been to enough buffets you can tell when something has been sitting out too long. I always avoid those. In this case, I could easily tell the pizza, mac&chees, and bone marrow had been out too long. Better to skip it even if you want to taste it. I hate wasting food. BTW, you can tell which people are the newbies because they pile it on their first plate.😆
His review is on the mark. Its passable. there are some decent things there. If you dont have to pay much for it, it will be the biggest bargain at COSMO.
I can tell you from watching Travel Ruby, Danny the Medic, Vegas with Shin and several other "Vegas" content creators, I can safely say Wicked Spoon is not the best buffet in Vegas. It is one of the better buffets for sure, but it also severely depends on the times you go there like most of the big ones. That being said, even a meh buffet in Vegas, isn't that bad really. :D

I tend to agree with your reviews and when I was in NY took advantage of Best Coffee and Bagel and Gallaghers for that great lunch special. Vegas buffetts peaked in the 1990s when Bellagio was far the best. It had the best quality, service, etc. The desserts were from the French Chef Jean Phillipe in Vegas as were the breads. I had a comp on the Caesars buffett a few yrs ago. i thought it was ok but definitely overpriced at full price and long lines. However back int he day the Caesars at 50-60% less cost would have been the deal. Before Covid the buffets were somewhat on the way down and replaced with super overpriced gourmet or other hip restaurants. It looked like Covid was the final blow, but a few remain. Caesars invested a ton of miney in theirs, so they didnt want to kill it.
