@@robn2171 This is an oftentimes political news channel. Democrats and Republicans swarm this channel actively, mainly with a political outlook in mind. I'd argue that there is obviously a political interest with any video posted here, so posting the message above simply dignifies that this video transcends the worry of that. While I get your point on a base-level, Fox News viewers will probably storm this place and spam political filth in the comments regardless; those are the people who make it political, not this guy. Had this been a comment on a gaming channel, I would have agreed that a comment like this makes things unnecessarily political-or maybe this comment on an animal channel. A better analogy for you would be somebody commenting "Whether you're a lion, a monkey, or a polar bear, we can all agree this is sad" on a channel that is literally 99 percent of the time talking about individuals who are lions, monkeys, and bears. It doesn't seem so random if you actually look at the context of what and where this guy is saying this. I watch the show when I'm visiting my father... really appreciate Mr. Trebek and what he did. I'm going to record and save the final episode just to make sure my dad sees it.
Alex was a humble and kind man very loved by millions of his jeopardy fans. He will be missed. I hope jepardy continues that's what Alex wanted so much. RIP alex god blessed us with alex
I feel like I lost a close friend. I cried. Never done that over a celebrity before
Same for me when Robin Williams died.
Hey gordon
We will all be weeping, until we see him in Heaven some day.
@@jessicapaine6712 Except that Robyn Williams committed suicide. Whitney Houston died from a drug OD in her own bathtub, Prince OD'd. (I am a Paralegal, and we represented Prince when the Napster litigation was going Global.)
Mr. Trebek does not belong in any category or sentence with their names.
He died of prostate cancer.
No drugs.
No booze.
No suicide.
Shame on you.
No apologies made.

Alex seemed like a genuinely nice man. Sorry to see him go.
Democrat, Republican, Independent, we can all agree the world lost a legend. RIP.
@GodPain He's making it not about politics
@@eeveescloset he literally, nonsensically included political parties.
Kind of like if I said "Whether you're a lion, a monkey, or a polar bear - we can all agree this is sad."
You could say why the hell are you making this about animals?
Agreed, RIP
And, beyond all of that, people like you who go and cry about a non-harmful comment are just sad. Seriously, go find something fun to do and stop letting silly things like this make you upset.
@@eeveescloset LOL this got interesting only after reading your back and forth and then you're long chapter of a comment and then at the very end this tells it all about a liberal... You accuse him of getting upset and you tell him not to get all bent out of shape and not to get upset but you are the one that just wrote half of a book after getting upset! The hypocrisy
Always loved him and tried to never miss his show. A scholar and a gentleman. Don't see many men as GREAT. May he rest in peace and prayers for the family and friends☮️🙏

I would assume that while being sick, going to the show is what kept him going in the end.
Clearly not
Yes, he said that he would be having a rough day where he didn't know if he could get through and then the camera would come on and he would forget it all and go into the zone. Shooting the show kept him going for sure. He loved it.
Going to that show kept him alive. He didn't give up.
I loved Alex and truly admired and how he brought attention to this evil disease. My mom also had pancreatic cancer and to watch Alex doing the show show every nite and still with such enthusiasm was truly remarkable if u know anything about this cancer. Truly a man of great courage and grace.

I go back with Jeopardy to the Don Pardo and Art Fleming days. Thank you Alex Trebek for bringing so much joy, and at times frustration at clues at which I had no clue. Always classy, always professional and forever the best game show host in TV history.

how was he an asset to me?..wjat had he done for you or me? ...nothing...give credit farmers...nurses..doctors..who are actually useful...tv personalities are useless..to society...ex..news people..
That made me cry. He knew so much, but he was never condescending or conceited about it. He was polite to everyone no matter how wrong their answers were. Instead of just letting those moments pass he explained or gave a bit of information about the right answer. I am very grateful that I lived in a generation that was able to see a man with great character all the time. He is a TV legend.
The epitome of class, professionalism and humbleness. RIP Mr. Trebek all of Canada is mourning your loss and condolences to his family and friends.
When I heard this story, my heart all of the sudden just stopped, just finding out that cancer can’t be stopped from slowing his progress. 80 years is a full life and Alex never gave up on fighting it. He will surely be missed, with his last episode to air on Christmas Day 2020 on a Friday. R.I.P.
