- Using the blowdryer, I created beautiful abstract ocean waves in this painting! It gave me some trouble at first, but this is a perfect example of how easy it is to fix "mistakes" and how we can keep going until we are happy with our paintings. I love how this one came out, beautiful colors and so many cells!
Hope you enjoy the video! ❤️

Beautiful.
Thank you! 🤗
Very pretty !! Dried great. I love any style of wave pours. One like this with that small negative space in the center could even be embellished with a hand painted rock to look like the waves are coming in & splashing against the rock, but then again, it's gorgeous as is !! 💙💙
Thank you so much and that’s a great idea! 🤗

It turned out pretty! You have a real good sense of color, I noticed, in your videos. Question. I'm fairly new at the acrylic pouring having painted mostly landscapes and wildlife. Do the cells pop up because you're using the Pebeo metallic/iridescent paint mixed with Medium together with the other paints mixed with just water? Like, from their interaction? And what is the reasoning behind blowing the white paint back over the colors before blowing it out to the other end of the canvas? Does that help create cells as well?
Thank you! Using metallic paint in general increases your chances for cells, same with certain Amsterdam colors like their black and white. I did some experiments and found Golden medium gloss to give great cells too. So I believe it’s from doing all three..amsterdam white, metallic paint and pouring medium. Blowing the white paint over helps everything blend together a little. Hope this was helpful! 😊
@@LaurenMichelleArt yes! It was helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time! :)
