It's refreshing to see products like the TOKIT AkuaPure U2 making clean water accessible. I appreciate how it focuses on user-friendliness while ensuring quality.
The efficiency of this system is remarkable. Not only does it filter out chlorine, but it also removes heavy metals. Such a smart investment for health-conscious individuals!
Investing in a reverse osmosis system can significantly enhance one's health by ensuring clean and safe drinking water, and the AkuaPure U2 seems like a solid choice.
There is not hint of chlorine, metal, or anything chemical... The RO coin-op vending machine I've been getting my water from is a very very close match. Of course, that commercial RO machine is filtered differently in a plant. Different filter, different water source, so I know I will not get 100% match, but Waterdrop is extremely close. It does not have a dull taste like water that has been stored inside a container. It reminds me of bottled water like Dasani or Arrowhead. The taste does not bother me, it is immediately forgetful because it is just water . I brew coffee, tea, make ice cubes with it, and make my cocktail with the ice cubes. Completely satisfied! Taste was the ONLY question that I cannot get a quantifiable answer when I was researching RO units. Purchasing Waterdrop was a huge gamble purely based on reviews and TH-cam videos and I am so happy it worked out!
This is a substantial improvement over my older style, 5 stage RO system with a tank. It was fairly simple to install needing only a few adapters to fit my particular setup. I connected it to my refrigerator as well and eliminated the refrigerator water filter (replacing that filter with a dummy plug; depends on the model). The quality of the water is great as is the taste which is the whole purpose for having it.
There is one challenge that most homeowners will probably face to using this unit -- it requires power under the sink. I had a socket under my sink that the garbage disposal was plugged into. I assumed (you can see where this is going!) that as is traditional, the upper socket was wired to the disposal switch and the lower was always hot. Unfortunately, living in an older home, this was not the case, so I had to replace the socket with a split/switched/always hot one. Our garbage disposal unit is huge, and our sink is in the corner of the kitches with one small door, so it needed to be removed to facilitate the install. Between the disposal deinstall/reinstall and and the rewiring job, installation took me all day. HOWEVER - The actual installation of the Waterdrop unit was approximately 40 minutes of this, so plan accordingly. I had one minor issue with the waste pipe connection, which is designed for 1.5 pipe (we have 2 pipes, but the pipe coming out of the garbage disposal was 1.5 with just enough space to connect the waste line).
We live by the sea in an old community in an area with very high particulates in the water system. The water also smells like chlorine. We have always bought bottled water, but with the Pandemic, our grocery load started to become unmanageable as we cut down on the number of trips we made to the store. We started to drink the tap water and almost immediately decided it was time to try out a water filter.
This was easy to install. Watch the installation video. It really explains everything well. The water is clear and tastes clean. No chemical taste. I would recommend this system.
Clean water is essential for life because it keeps us healthy, hydrates our bodies, and helps with everyday activities like cooking, cleaning, and bathing. It prevents illness by reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, which can spread when water is contaminated. Additionally, clean water supports agriculture and the environment, allowing plants and animals to thrive. Overall, access to clean water is crucial for both individual well-being and the health of communities.
I've had a reverse osmosis system under my sink for the past 18 years, dutifully changing filters, etc. It always performed well but the product itself is no longer made (even though filters are available). Decided to upgrade to a newer model which used less water (my original system used 3-4 gallons for every gallon of RO). After quite a bit of research I settled on Waterdrop G3600 which was on sale for just a bit more than it would have cost me to replace my filters on the old unit.
Aside from drilling a hole in the counter (which we hired out), the installation is fairly simple. I haven't had our water tested, but it tastes good, and there are a lot of reviews suggesting that you can't get much better filtration.
Maintenance will be considerably easier since it does not require removing the system from under the sink to replace cartridges. The system will warn you when a cartridge needs to be replaced; when that occurs you simply twist and pull the cartridge to remove it as needed without having to disconnect the water supply.
I’m intrigued by the idea of healthier water at home. This system could potentially reduce reliance on bottled water, which is beneficial for the environment.
With the ongoing global water crisis, finding sustainable solutions like the AkuaPure U2 is crucial. It supports long-term health and a smaller ecological footprint.
Oh! One of my favorite memories is from last summer. My family did this camp-out thing but in our backyard with the new RO system my mom got! I pretended we were exploring the wilderness, but, of course, I was taking my clean water everywhere! I remember telling ghost stories by the outdoor fire, and then I would sneak off to fill my water bottle from Sparky, because who knows what “wilderness water” could have! 😂 Always stayed refreshed while I told my best scary Sasquatch stories!
It's definitely on the pricy side, but it works as advertised. We decided to get this because of some intermittent concerns we've had with the water quality in our home.
It stands out that this system offers a compact design while still maintaining high-grade filtration. Perfect for smaller kitchens!
Tokit you just gained a new fan from this video 🍋
same here buddy
it is really good
👏
all thanks to Adam and his amazing reviews!

I’m just here for the coffee maker but that water purifier is a nice bonus
the forward-facing filters are as easy to replace as a refrigerator filter.
Water just coming out pure sounds like magic! I love this whole idea!

The technology behind reverse osmosis is quite astounding. It’s incredible how it purifies water without toxic chemicals.

I'm particularly interested in the element of easy installation. Not everyone is handy, and it’s great to see ease-of-use prioritized.
Just ordered my Tokit after watching this review no way I could resist its cool features
Tokit should pay him for promos he makes it sound super tempting
Might be the most informative coffee review I’ve seen

How long does this take to ship? I also ordered Meta-Seven and RESTMORE after seeing your videos.
Ease of installation: Easy, if you have basic household plumbing experience. Medium for most users.
