I hate when the teachers are on mute. Last year I did online the first quarter and one time my English teacher was on mute so we couldn’t hear him ( he was talking to a another teacher) but he forgot to unmute himself when he was done. We typed in the chat but he didn’t see it so someone turned on there mic and tryed to tell him he was mute but he looked angry and like he was trying to give her a lecture. I would have turned my camera on but It was 7 am and I was still in my pjs. Finally he realized what happened and turned his mic on. That whole charade ( pun intended) lasted about 25-30 minutes so he apologized and said that he was just discussing quiz grades from the day before…..

Kids are devious when dealing with teachers who don't know the tech. In my son's online SK class during Covid, the teacher was doing small group activities, and the poor ECE had to supervise the rest of the class while the teacher took them 6 at a time (30 kids in the class that year). The ECE didn't have a handle on the Zoom technology, so she was struggling with her interface while trying to read the kids a book. Around 2 pm, one of the kids from the small group came on, interrupting the ECE and yelled, "Hey, Miss ECE! I just finished small group with the teacher can I'm all done my work can I be excused for the day?" The ECE, distracted, said, "Sure, sure!" Cue 20 other kids seeing an opening and yelling, "I'm from the small group too! I finished my work! May I be excused for the day? I'm done! Miss ECE!" And they all logged off leaving the ECE gaping. My son about joined the mass exodus, but we were in the room and told him no. Partly because I wanted to see how it panned out when the teacher came to get the next 6 kids.

We were on a zoom class with the teacher and he randomly says : "F__k it, just, got to sleep y'all and have a good day, it's too early in the morning" Then the call ended We never talked about this day ever again 😂
This is my teacher, but 100x nicer. When she has her mute on and talks, she doesn’t get mad she just says “what a wonderful conversation I had with myself”
We are going to have some of the weirdest lore to blow our kids minds with as soon as they start to think they know all about us. You don't KNOW me, KID. You don't KNOW the things I've SEEN, the things I've DONE. 😤🕺🕺
Nah my teachers are pretty well with zoom! We also never have homework so before class we get to listen to music and talk with our friends before class for 5 minutes!
