Mr Alan definitely has some sort of connection with JianHao, possibly a familial one. Like, we have never seen Jianhao's/Nicole's father before, only their mother and she seems to be the breadwinner and the head of the house (a divorced woman maybe?). The yin-yang bracelet thing also serves as proof.

What if Mr. Alan is jianhao's uncle who lost his brother a long time ago and faced childhood trauma for it and his ambition would be to impress his parents. That would be why he expel failed students so he can make his business grow better. But now he found out jianhao is his brother's son or sisters son if he's from the maternal side. And wants to help him because he cares. And the reason Denise was his target was because she defended Jianhao. Then got Treverly to make her fail but Treverly betrayed him. And he's glad he did because now he wants to change.

Theory:
As seen in one of the episodes (I think at the end of 13 types of students back to school), Mr Alan & Mrs Regna has a boss, an even higher power than them. In the 17 types of students in a presentation, Tasha, had a presentation abt the organisation. She then says, “There’s so many unanswered questions! Who’s is Leanne Loe!?” I think that they are the highest power of the organisation. Tasha also says the school was founded by Mr and Mrs Tan, Tan is Jianhao’s last name, and leads me to think that Jianhao’s grandparents/ parent/ great grandparents idk, are forcing the organisation to look after Jianhao, since hes apart of their family. In the episode- Types of students back to school, at the end where Nicole leaved to New York, she gives Jianhao a yin yang bracelet. The bracelet seems to be the same as Mr Alan’s. Then she says, “You play a much bigger role than you realise.” This means that Jianhao does play a pretty big role, maybe he will even take over the school one day. Putting this altogether, I think The Organisation is related to Jianhao’s family, or even Walater’s family. Even better reasoning for why I think this- the yin yang bracelet, maybe it’s a bracelet that connects the whole family. In the types of parents in a parent- teacher conference, Mr Alan has to “supervise” Jianhao. I think Mr Alan was forced to look after Jianhao as they didn’t want a part of their family to fail. (If you read that tysm-)
I agree! More is revealed in the BTS of one of the videos, where Mr Alan and Regna meet their big boss. The cane/walking stick was revealed to be a secret in the the episode by JianHao. Also, I'm pretty sure that the Big Boss, looked liked Walater. If you see the BTS, the siloute looks alot like him.

My theory is that Mr. Alan is JianHao Tan’s Uncle. Given that Titan Academy was founded by Mr. Tan and Mrs. Tan. It’s likely their boys are Mr. Alan and JianHao’s Father. Very likely that Mr. Alan and JianHao’s Father were among the first students of Titan Academy.
What does the Organization have to do with Titan Academy? Likely they bought the school because some of their workers like Mr. James, Mrs. Regna, and possibly Mr. Alan were former students. Likely that Mr. Alan like Mrs. Regna has a good and kind side. Too bad they are the main antagonists.
