It's such a heavily scripted Yamaha advert from start to finish. The are elements of Nick's true personality shining through but its mostly just a very long commercial for the 700 Tenere.
Yes, an advertisement for the Tenere, but its more. Its the spirit of Dakar, the spirit of adventure. Something lost, that we desire. To recapture a sense of greater meaning, of glory, of triumph over adversity.
Hi Nick! As always, big respect for being able to film all of this by yourself. Can't be understated what a pain it is to go back and forth constantly 😅! Hope you're well with everything going on at the moment!
Very interested in the T700 and riding in that part of Africa. Although an owner of R1, KLR and several KTMs thinking of Yamaha T700 for an adventure of Mexico and Baja in 2021 so researching the bike and what changes to make to suit my 210 pound and 6 foot frame. Also would never have those metal panniers again. High tech soft panniers every time. Interesting video but too arty farty and it’s unfortunate that Nick sounds and behaves like Mavis from coronation street or Steve Coogan impersonating Alan Bennet
Well produced and thoughtfully put together. Enjoyable. Thanks for showing.
excellent content and history lesson

Nick's achievements are fantastic and may I say he's a living legend to all in the biking community and beyond. 👍
Awesome story Trevor, thanks for letting us share it with you.
I still don't quite get it why every Nick Sanders documentary isn't showed on TV!! Brilliant!! Thank you Nick for sharing!! 👍👍

I went on that trip, following the 2007 Dakar and then to Timbuktu, my one and only claim to fame 😂
and what a great claim to have Raymond
Wow! Very inspirational film and what a great story. Thank You.
Wonder if this is a sponsored video?
Respect to the garage owner for having Senna memorial flags on the wall @5:33
Some really nice content and information so it’s a shame the narrative is all over the place.
If there are any comments I'll be on hand during and after the film for a Q&A - be delighted to form a discussion. Nick Sanders
Great documentary. Well done! An inspiration for my own RTW ride. Someday....
Gran vídeo!! Gracias!!!!
Sadly unwatchable due to adverts every 2 minutes!

Sorry mcn but i stopped watching when i realised there were 11 ad breaks in a 35 minute video
Good to see that you're still living the life less ordinary, Nick.
