I bought a joker Bowie here in Ireland they are nice quality knives for the price, i was just thinking that you will need to rent a small warehouse for all your knives, boris and nigel could be security 😉 👍🏻👍🏻🎅
I believe the Dexter knife is made for old or disabled with wrist problems with their grip! You'll see what I mean when you hold it in the hammer grip. I've a family friend that has a couple like the Dexter,it lets him stay independent, atb Andy 👍😁
The little camp stove is a handy thing to have. After using them they don’t stay so shiny and new looking. They boil water really fast for hot drinks and Ramen noodles. The holes in the bottom of the legs let you stake them to the ground. Being so small they tip over pretty easy. I have a match contained in my camping stuff like yours that has a compass in the lid. Trying to light them is just as tricky as using a Ferro-rod. I remember as a Cub Scout using magnifying glasses like the ones you have to start fires too. We made bow drills, hand drills and fire plows with help from our Den Mother. What I learned is; Zippo lighters are a real good thing to have. The waterproof matches are just dipped in candle wax and made waterproof. They are strike anywhere matches we use to call Barnburners. You can still buy them but, they not easy to find.🦖🙂
Yes, they switched to safety matches awhile back & you have to hunt down strike anywhere matches now. I remember lighting them on our bluejeans zipper, and if you were really fancy you would light them off your leg.
I Think your pinky goes closer to the blade on that Dexter knife with the blade going forward . I could see it being used in the kitchen for cutting pizza, or slicing meat and vegetables. (drawing back toward you). Like them storm proof matches and such. Nice little stove. Can't go wrong with Joker Knives! I call those stops on your Jokers a lazy half stop. I actually prefer it to the knife snapping to the half stop. Yeah, I'm weird. I do think that wood is Olive.
Hello William. Some more great gear from Toby and family. It is nice that he sends some unusual stuff along with regular knives. Also the survival gear is always good to have. With lighting fires in any weather i find the biggest problem is finding flamable material to burn if you don't take your own tinder. If you have good enough tinder cold weather or snow makes little difference. Only heavy rain without a shelter makes things very hard. What really matters is practice, practice and more practice. All the best.
If you hold the angled knife blade down and thumb up then it is easy to use. They use these nowadays for deboning beef and pig, in butcheries, because it is less burdensome cutting all day. (is butcheries actually a word?) The Joker knives are pretty nice, olive wood looks great on knife handles. The portable stove is pretty neat, the ones with a rod on every corner are sometimes a pain in the hiny to set up, sharp edges too on the cheap ones. Keep bandaids and superglue at hand with those. This one however has just one rod, the edges didn't seem sharp and it folds up pretty flat. Together with those all weather matches you can put up a fire pretty swiftly and fry the bacon you sliced off of a random boar with your deboning knife. Now be cautious with slicing pieces off of boars, they might not like it and they have pretty big teeth. They can bite your arm off with one bite. Maybe you have to explain first that you just want some bacon and are not out on killing him for just some bacon. Maybe offer him to carve a wooden leg for him. The Joker knives can do that nicely. Boris is back in business! Some nice stock to sell. It supposedly was an Italian gun who killed Kennedy (Mannlicher-Carcano) I didn't knew Spanish knives were involved. Does the FBI know this? Oh everybody knows it was the magic-bullet which changed trajectery five times and the head shot made a turn and then hit from the front. There was not a shooter on the grassy knowl.(there were two) Reagan was close to be the fifth though. Don't drink and knife William Thank you for the video friend.
Thank you Jeroen. I can use that stove in my fireplace. The day before it was 78 here (25.55) and this morning it's about 34 (1.11). Finally getting some winter weather here.
@@WilliamsKnifeLife We had snow this morning, but it all disappeared around 10 am. It's just above freezing. Maybe we get a white christmas it has been almost 20 years since the last. Oh well beats christmas in shorts i guess. Quite a plunge in temperature there. one day in t-shirt the other in winter coat. If you decide to try the stove, a video would be nice, you already have fatwood. Just saying😁
@@jeroenvoss6231 I have some Mountain House freeze dried food I could warm up. The little sticks of fatwood would make for a nice hot & quick fire. I'll definitely video it as I do need to put up some more indoor Bushcraft stuff. Indoor Bushcraft is like going to a hotel room with a built in free coffee maker, and going "no, I'm going to rough it out." And then getting a glass of sink water, and boiling it in the microwave. 😂
@@WilliamsKnifeLife hahaha Indoor bushcraft is going to be THE hit this winter! Have the fun and still stay warm indoors. Bring the bush into your home now. 40% off if you decide right now and you get a can of beans FOR FREE. 🤣
Poor little chicken wing….😂. I’d seen the Jokers but never up close. I like tht Dexter knife & green Joker but i need the Jefe version. Thx William too got my stickers today. Cool pics!💯👊🏼
The fixed blade knife is a kitchen knife with ergos for people with hand problems you use it in the hammer grip with blade facing down for veggies and as a boning knife. I've seen the joker fixed blades but first time seeing the folders, they look very cool. I use mineral oil on wood because it cannot go rancid like certain veg oils can. I make a mix of beeswax and mineral oil as a protected for wood handles and blades also. For leather I use beeswax and coconut oil as leather doesn't like mineral oil. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Nice little wood burning stove , spark it up in yr fireplace & cook something on it looks like fun....I like the weird yellow knife i like odd stuff i wonder what its purpose is it looks industrial i think it cuts downwards like cutting a cake its a weird cake knife lol..The Jokers are great...Cool Bananas Nice goodies : ) And a Mattress Awesome ; )
Very cool camp stove! Joker is putting out some sweet knives!
they sure are Badmunky
That Dexter knife, made just for giggles, to confound your brain! Love Boris and his virtually bug free furniture. Sold AS IS !!
it's probably used in butchering somehow.
Toby sent some pretty cool stuff William really like the Joker knives enjoy..👍
Thank you John. I like the Joker brand. They are nice.

Thank you Jimmy J
Those joker knives look pretty cool! And there may have to be another fireplace cooking video in the future with that camp stove. Cheers, buddy.
Thank you David. i do plan on doing a stove video soon.

Lazy stops aren't bad. yes, some half stops get real snappy.

Thank you Rhino. That little stove will come in handy inside my apartment too because of my fireplace. Practice makes perfect. 👍
I'm diggin the olive wood handle of the NO-75. Good looking knife. Thanks for presenting these. Take care William.
Thank you Thrifty. I have another Joker coming in from Amazon sometime this week.

Thank you D's. Joker makes some good quality knives. I just discovered them this year thanks to Toby.
That's a nice looking match safe. I have one of those Lixada things, they're handy for wet weather. Very nice Jokers too.
Thank you Jhaykhay25. I left out another Joker I had. They like to hide from me.

Thank you JP. Some of the stuff Boris finds would be salvageable if you had a trailer & a shop.
How are you supposed to carry that boomerang scrapper thing around. Not a space saver being shaped like the letter L.
I think it's one of those knives that isn't carried around but left somewhere like at a Butcher's block. I don't know as I've never seen one like it.
Boomerang! Hey, that might be an idea...🤔
How would you use it against a zombie ninja?
Forward slash? Zombies are usually slow, so it might make a good head remover with a front punch.🧟♂️

I think the yellow handle knife is for Harvesting Bananas.......
That would work.
