There's something transcendental about Pamuk -- he gets along with everyone. Porthos is more of a warrior, and D'Artagnan is more of a "grey eminence."
Lately, my attention span with TH-cam videos has been declining. I can hardly watch a video of more than 2-3 mins unless it is quite gripping. But, give me a Walter Santi video of one hour anyday and I would still feel that it ended sooner than it was supposed to. I suppose that's the power of good story-telling (great characters, great narrative, great emotions).
D'Artagnan kills me everytime .. his famous little stares are just out of this world. Love it when the two Pamuks are play fighting and he looks at the camera as if to say, 'WTF' .. love him! 💋💋
Porthos's sideways stare is because he is warning the other cat. If he stared straight at the other's face, it would be a direct challenge to a fight; the human idea of 'look at me when I'm talking to you' is extremely confrontational in cat (body) language. Porthos is giving the other one a chance to back away peacefully. Congratulations on reaching a million subscribers! I love the way you tell the cats' stories. It's so much more interesting than just cute videos. Sometimes long videos are nice. I just clicked without looking at the length, so when I read that you would tell the story in three parts, I felt a little disappointment until I noticed how long it would be. There are so many lovely developments in this video. You are very kind to have let Nope use her "dual citizenship". She was also telling you that you have made both yards into desirable cat homes. It's nice. They've turned into indoor cats. Suspicious of outsiders and protective of their space. I think it makes them less likely to want to explore outside the fences. It's so much safer for them away from the road.

I love that Port is protective of his family and life there. cracks me up everytime I see D'Art watching you , he always seems the most observant of what you're up to. Shame Zoom doesn't want to join life there in the front..but people don't always want to live in the big city with the hussle and bussle ,so zoom is the more chill laid back life type.Male Zoom seems more trusting of you..letting you get that close while napping.

I have observed myself how adding a new cat to an established cat family changes the personality of each cat in some way, and you witness interactions you could never predict...cats are as individual as people. Your cats illustrate this so beautifully

Cats are such independent individuals. I have two from the same litter. They were born in the woods and I had them neutered when they were about 3 months old. One is a complete companion, sleeps on my bed, bosses me around, helped me tame an unsocialized rescue dog, and would be delighted to nurture any foster animal I brought home. His brother, whose nickname is "he who must not be seen" is FERAL. He sneaks in to eat and visit his brother in the middle of the night only. Dashes out if I wake up, and is completely untouchable. (except on a few rare occasions when he needed hundreds of $ worth of vet care) and then he came right to me. This has gone on for 14 years. The third brother decided to be tame a few years ago and lives a couple blocks away.
@@rachelciel3330 I know. I keep hoping he'll relent. I have one who decided to be tame when he was 12, (and he now loves the electric blanket) but this one is so wild. There used to be a lot of strays and ferals in this area, but a wonderful vet started the Feral Cat Project to spay and neuter them. Now this county takes in rescues from other areas. In this particular neighborhood, I think he's the last feral. I haven't had a new stray or feral show up in years, and my colony has either aged out or tamed except for him. The tame ones are teenagers though.

That's my feeling too. It nearly brought me to tears thinking of what Zoom has been through to make her so fearful and anti-social. She knows she's safe, now, but I think she might be more of an introvert than me! LOL I hope Zoom 2.0 is a healing factor for her , maybe they can heal each other.✌🏻🐱
For many cats it's in their nature to enjoy being alone. Don't be sad - she has a choice. That's the best this about the protected front yard. They all make a choice to stay. Nope wanted out and she was let out. Zoom likes it in the back where she doesn't feel locked in.
I mean, he has the backyard for those kitties! as far as I can tell, only the front yard is fully closed with mesh and stuff but the backyard is only fenced for humans, cats can come and go freely there
@@texasgal3903 The cats' caretaker makes sure to provide plenty of extra food in the backyard for the neighbourhood strays as well as extra sleeping spots. He even feeds The Loud Cat!

In regard to thinking one cat looks more 'human' than the others, perhaps it is because you relate more strongly to her/him than others, subconsciously registering a greater sense of personality from that one cat, and therefore seeing him or her as like yourself, a human. To me, Zoom looks like a cat, a very lovely and strongly opinionated cat. She's far too pretty to look like a mere human.... lol.

I adopted a feral kitty that lived his first year in the garden at a restaurant that I worked at. When he felt carpet under his feet for the first time he rolled on it and rubbed his body all over it. _so soft lol_ 15 years later and he runs to my bedroom if the front door is open or if someone comes to the door. He likes to watch the world from my sliding glass door but has absolutely no desire to go outside. 🐈⬛❤️

After binging a bunch of videos it feels like I'm starting to get to know the cats. I still have a hard time telling appart The purring cat, Junior and Nope but I'm getting there. XD
A few things I've noticed that may help: Nope has orange/brown patches blended in her coat, easy to see in good lighting. Both Purring Cat and Junior have the tip of their right ear clipped, For Nope it's her left ear. The tip of Nope's tail is bright colored, Junior's is black. Purring cat's tip is also black, but it looks like it may have been injured. When it comes to personality Junior loves to play and enjoys attention, Nope and Purring cat seem to be more laid back.
12:20 ruzgar remembers his friend after a couple of months, and keeps her company and safe :) 16:10 night eyes. 27:26 another cat appears! the backyard is like the training place for the frontyard!

Ahh I love ZOOM! I think she has such an interesting and unique face/ look/ expression for a cat ~ her look almost looks kinda human like to me but with a little of a worried or semi-concerned expression. A unique face for a unique cat ~ I think she has a deep soul and I loved how she just 'Let it be' with Rugzar and let Nope flow and doesn't even mind the Loud Cat (that is some patience right there) and NOW look?! She has attracted another potential companion, perhaps this time more of an introvert like her? I could look at ZOOM for hours and see something diferent in her look/ and Kitty Kat soul each time. I have observed myself how adding a new cat to an established cat family changes the personality of each cat in some way, and you witness interactions you could never predict...cats are as individual as people. Your cats illustrate this so beautifully

Cats are such independent individuals. I have two from the same litter. They were born in the woods and I had them neutered when they were about 3 months old. One is a complete companion, sleeps on my bed, bosses me around, helped me tame an unsocialized rescue dog, and would be delighted to nurture any foster animal I brought home. His brother, whose nickname is "he who must not be seen" is FERAL. He sneaks in to eat and visit his brother in the middle of the night only. Dashes out if I wake up, and is completely untouchable. (except on a few rare occasions when he needed hundreds of $ worth of vet care) and then he came right to me. This has gone on for 14 years. The third brother decided to be tame a few years ago and lives a couple blocks away.

@@rachelciel3330 I know. I keep hoping he'll relent. I have one who decided to be tame when he was 12, (and he now loves the electric blanket) but this one is so wild.
There used to be a lot of strays and ferals in this area, but a wonderful vet started the Feral Cat Project to spay and neuter them. Now this county takes in rescues from other areas.
In this particular neighborhood, I think he's the last feral. I haven't had a new stray or feral show up in years, and my colony has either aged out or tamed except for him. The tame ones are teenagers though.
I don't feel that this video is that "long". Enjoy every scene..

That's my feeling too. It nearly brought me to tears thinking of what Zoom has been through to make her so fearful and anti-social. She knows she's safe, now, but I think she might be more of an introvert than me! LOL I hope Zoom 2.0 is a healing factor for her , maybe they can heal each other.✌🏻🐱
For many cats it's in their nature to enjoy being alone. Don't be sad - she has a choice. That's the best this about the protected front yard. They all make a choice to stay. Nope wanted out and she was let out. Zoom likes it in the back where she doesn't feel locked in.

I mean, he has the backyard for those kitties! as far as I can tell, only the front yard is fully closed with mesh and stuff but the backyard is only fenced for humans, cats can come and go freely there

Knowing cats, I thought that most cats would be like Nope. I was surprised how all of them actually never wanted to get out of that enclosure. Nope is not indecisive. She just wants the best of both worlds

The more time you spend looking at faces of cats, the more familiar they seem. I'm not sure they look 'more human'. Maybe we just start looking 'more cat' the longer we watch them... :) Either way, they all become 'people', full of character and individuality. =^^= All praise our furry overlords!

In regard to thinking one cat looks more 'human' than the others, perhaps it is because you relate more strongly to her/him than others, subconsciously registering a greater sense of personality from that one cat, and therefore seeing him or her as like yourself, a human. To me, Zoom looks like a cat, a very lovely and strongly opinionated cat. She's far too pretty to look like a mere human.... lol.

I adopted a feral kitty that lived his first year in the garden at a restaurant that I worked at. When he felt carpet under his feet for the first time he rolled on it and rubbed his body all over it. _so soft lol_ 15 years later and he runs to my bedroom if the front door is open or if someone comes to the door. He likes to watch the world from my sliding glass door but has absolutely no desire to go outside. 🐈⬛❤️

After binging a bunch of videos it feels like I'm starting to get to know the cats. I still have a hard time telling appart The purring cat, Junior and Nope but I'm getting there. XD
The same happened to me. But the more you see those particular tabbies, the more you will notice their subtle differences
Purring cat has some orange on his nose fur and I think Nope has a bit of orange at the end of her tail. Junior is a bit slimmer.
A few things I've noticed that may help:
Nope has orange/brown patches blended in her coat, easy to see in good lighting.
Both Purring Cat and Junior have the tip of their right ear clipped, For Nope it's her left ear.
The tip of Nope's tail is bright colored, Junior's is black. Purring cat's tip is also black, but it looks like it may have been injured.
When it comes to personality Junior loves to play and enjoys attention, Nope and Purring cat seem to be more laid back.
12:20 ruzgar remembers his friend after a couple of months, and keeps her company and safe :)

Princess playing with the commoners..! Strange times we live in. I'd never get bored of these videos, it took me 90 minutes to watch this with all the replays to make sure I saw what everyone was up to. Absolutely loved it and thanks to our friend for showing us how to live a cat's best life ❤

I'm going to watch the whole story about these beautiful cats. They are so sweet and loving, with all their different personalities and likes and dislikes...truly very interesting. All they want, according to their own personality...is to be loved and cared for and then they just want to play, play, and play. Your cats are very beautiful and they also make great decorations for your garden. Ahh I love ZOOM! I think she has such an interesting and unique face/ look/ expression for a cat ~ her look almost looks kinda human like to me but with a little of a worried or semi-concerned expression. A unique face for a unique cat ~ I think she has a deep soul and I loved how she just 'Let it be' with Rugzar and let Nope flow and doesn't even mind the Loud Cat (that is some patience right there) and NOW look?! She has attracted another potential companion, perhaps this time more of an introvert like her? I could look at ZOOM for hours and see something diferent in her look/ and Kitty Kat soul each time.
