Nice video Andrew and thanks for our little chat yesterday afternoon @ the Santa Ponsa Beach explaining about what you do and some drone techniques Cheers Cor from The Netherlands
Lovely evening walk.. absolutely love Alcudia beach. Am coming in September.. staying in the port this time, can't wait to get away from the UK weather. ☔
The bar next to the canal before the bridge is great when the football is on. The crepe place is still there which I’m happy about as they are so good!
yes most of the island does close in the winter, there are places for locals to get a drink but most of the tourist areas go to sleep. what do we do/manage well you can get simular to the dole of kind but you have to have worked for so many months/seasons, the island’s beautiful but it’s hard if you’re not prepared,, (i’m not this year) no benefits for me, never had anything, hopefully the youtube will pay this/next year,, we’ll see..
Thanks andrew coming to the Lagomonte on monday we cant wait, my son is looking forward to buying some football shirts on the strip lol, i watch another youtuber from Mallorca and she said youre not supposed to dive or jumpnoff tthe piers even though many do. X
everyone does jump BUT first i’d recommend that you swim out to that area first to check it’s deep enough as before i’ve stood there, personally i wouldn’t jump there just incase i hurt myself, but i’m old. lol
i did start a while ago and i got mixed thoughts from the restaurant owners and there’s loads of restaurants around alcudia , i decided not to finish it as some restaurant owners didn’t want to be part of the vid.
Was this during school holiday season? We where here last year in june and loved it but wondered how busy it gets during school holidays such as getting sun beds on the beach and eating out etc?
Wow, enjoyed this. Will be coming out in October (1st time since Covid stopped all travel), brings back memories as used to come to Alcudia twice a year. Couple of question am hoping you can answer before I go there. Can you buy powdered milk in Alcudia (used to take our own but due to Brexit no longer able to) as always find their fresh milk goes off after a day in fridge ? I know the A32 (to and from airport) used to stop close to Astoria Playa but believe this has now changed to somewhere further along (near a Tabac shop) can you clarify as do not want to get off at wrong stop ? Thank you for the video, nice work.
fresh milk i use it and never had a problem with it going bad, but there’s also long life that i have in the cupboard especially in the winter when everything’s closed,, powered milk TBH i’ve never looked for it but i’d imagine it’s there as i’m sure locals need it,, the bus stop is opp Astoria playa i’ve often gone to palma via the bus.
@@lovinglifemallorca thank you for the info (long life for us just cannot stand, unfortunately) Glad the A32 to and from airport still stops outside Astoria Playa. Once again thank you. Looking forward to coming out there again
Hola m8 any chance you could do a walk around the plata ja dor hotel and the bars and eroski iat the back..would imagine a few people would like that 😊
Hmm, from the videos, it looks like Alcudia and Can Picafort are almost the same....What are the differences between Alcudia and Can Picafort? What is the bigger of the two?
hi, Alcudia is definitely bigger, it’s the beach that keeps them linked with it’s 14.5 kms of sands, Alcudia also has an old town, however can pic has a port but it’s tiny really compared to Alcudia the beach isn’t as nice honestly (IMO anyway) mainly German as Alcudia is mainly British..
Hi Adam, just looking for some advice. Which hotel would you recommend between Alcudia Beach Aparthotel or Sol de Alcudia. Its for 2 adults and a teenager. Many thanks Gillian
I am going there at the end of September can you tell me how far the old town is from the BQ Delfin can you walk to it i have really enjoyed your video thanks

Andrew are you going to do the video of the restaurant menus round alcudia ?
i did start a while ago and i got mixed thoughts from the restaurant owners and there’s loads of restaurants around alcudia , i decided not to finish it as some restaurant owners didn’t want to be part of the vid.

Hi, it gets fairly busy during summer holidays but there’s always space on the beach restaurants etc..
Thanks for the video
pleased u enjoyed it.
It would be nice foe a video walk from the club mac to the strip
that’s a good place to start a vid, that walk would only last a few minutes.
Wow, enjoyed this.

Hi, Honestly i think there’s not much between them.i hear more people that stay in the sol de Alcudia , but that doesn’t mean anything really.
Thanks Andrew
I am going there at the end of September can you tell me how far the old town is from the BQ Delfin can you walk to it i have really enjoyed your video thanks
half hour walk, now it’s getting cooler it’s a nice walk but there’s a bus stop outside the hotel.
Could you please recommend a good hotel not far from the town please, thank you xx
Hi, this depends on lots of different things like adults only or family, big or small, budget, self catering or AI etc , noisy or quiet etc…
Thanks Andrew.
pleased u enjoyed it.
Funny Bunny Pacos Bar is a great place!
Looks nice Andrew is that the area you live hope you know a few of the local bar owners ..😂
