On the attachment of Spectra Line to Foot Slider, a Surgeon's Knot might be all that's needed - Covered by a short length of Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink Tubing. Will look very nice, if done correctly (and won't come lose, either!). I can hardly wait until I have the money to by the 12.5 Titan-X, and get the Newport-300 Motor! (Trying to keep my Titan 10.5 with the Newport 180 drive, but money IS a little "TIGHT" nowadays! Too old to get a job, but still young enough to chase the "Green Carp" around!). Lol
Curious, can you give more details on your "tubing" item, instead of the grommets used in the video. Perhaps a link to the "tubing" so we can see what this item looks like. Thanks much for helping out!
Please keep making videos for the new titan x!!! i'm building my titan X 10.5 and i ran into a problem while trying to install the Humminbird Helix Mega SI+ G4N transducer.... the Humminbird bracket is to narrow and does not align with the Titan X transducer mounting screws. how do we resolve this? thanks!!! Other vidoes i'd love to see is how you mount a torqeedo and get the power connected to the battery in the rear battery compartment.. looks like we need to drill a hole in the battery box or in the kayak just above the battery box.
I think they make'em that way, so you can come up with your OWN ideas! I had to "modify" the last couple of fish finder transducer mounting brackets on 2 of my 'Yaks.
That’s not true. Been using these these style footbraces for 10 years both with rudders and motors. Used on kayaks with high seats and it works fine. You use your toes to slide them back and forth like a gas pedal. Works fine.
I am having this issue as well. Any downward pressure and that petal will not move. Going to try some waterproof marine lubricant - otherwise in the trash they go…. ☺️. Any feedback from Titan would be appreciated.. I have the NK300

Using grommets instead of tubing is a guaranteed way of getting water in your hull.

No, this kit will not void the warranty if installed per the instructions.
This is an absolutely poor design. Any downward pressure at all locks the slide where it will not move. I expect more from Natives engineers.

Candle WAX works "Wonders" on them! I WAS gonna make some Teflon buttons for mine, until I tried paraffin wax...!
