    Danny watching this vlog made me realize that this journey is a challenge for you too. Traveling alone to places you've never been before, staying in completely different hotels than you're used to, and trying foods (of your own country) you've never tried before! Everything you show us is a different side of Korea that has nothing to do with Seoul or the other big cities and it's really very interesting. Thanks for sharing it with us.🥰

      5:58PM- really enjoyed the video. It would be really cool to go there, but would it be considered a tourist place for people from other countries? I would have no clue how to order the food or how to do all that mixing.

    I enjoyed coming along with you and getting a glimpse of how other people live in a more quiet setting. The reality of North Korea so close,i often wonder how many people are suffering there and are dreaming of a better life in the South.Makes me appreciate all that i have and sometimes take for granted. I love the Beach, we have the mountains and Water close by,so its always nice to get away and take a break from daily life. Somtimes the quiet helps to think things through.Thanks for sharing this😊❤

    Hi Danny thanks sharing yet another adventure exploring ur country. Hmm you’ve given me ideas for my own place here. Not thought of that. Glad ur able to take the time to do this. Living thru ur lense from across the world. Still learning how to travel here. How do u deal with the shoulda woulda couldas after a trip? They eat at me once return home. Took mom and daughter to NYC 1st time. Planned it to the T. But some things didn’t go as coulda or shoulda had I made some adjustments.
    Ooh yea I like a runny yolk in a fried egg. But just super raw like that hmm not sure that one.
    That room was abit od. Glad u pulled it off tho.
    Nothin like sound of the water. Calming. ❤

    "I've never stayed in a place like this..." from your earlier videos, we sure can believe that😂 It's interesting what was said about the place across the border in NK being for "propaganda" purposes. Btw, what were you eating at 11:18? Some kind of dessert/ice-cream?

    I think this “Thiz Is Korea” vlogs are turning into something incredible. Very down to earth and all around amazing and eye opening. There was a part in your “bed talk” series where you mentioned how you wanted to be someone that was interesting, I think you already are and you just don’t know it yet. From your bar to your production company to your unique vlogs about Korea, you have single handedly become so much more than just interesting…
    Would you ever take latte with you on any of these trips? That would be so cool! 😃 and I’ve never seen what the border between north and South Korea looks like so this was pretty awesome.
    You inspire me to explore my own country more and Im really looking forward to more on your channel.
    Also how do you balance all the jobs you do?. I really want to learn cause you’re so consistent on all

    Great work with the video🙌
    I get very sad when I see how you look to North Korea, just on the other side with your freedom. Imagine the North Koreans looking at you wishing they can get out. They have no passport. No internet and have to serve the military for ten years. All of their youth is gone. Imagine be a prisoner in your own country 💔
    When you walked up from the stairs I got a vibe of Squad Game 😅 Esp. with you being a scared target. I am sorry but that is very funny to me 😂 With respect ❤️😂
    I like markets where you can walk around and use your senses. Talk to people and experience different foods.
    I can't eat an Egg yolk, if I do it will not be a nice sight. At least there is a lot of B12 vitamin in it. So it is not completely bad. It is just the feeling of raw Egg in my mouth 😱😅
    I like being close to the Sea. I can imagine the Sunset will be beautiful. You don't always need fancy places to enjoy the view and atmosphere. By the way don't eat everything you find 😂
    So weird to me that the food menu mainly are for two. I mean there is a chef preparing it in the kitchen 🤔
    I hope you enjoy your filming and your project. I look forward for your next update 🥰

    • @ThizisDanny
      @ThizisDanny  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      usually it’s only for two because in Korea there are a lot of complimentary side dishes in places like this. It won’t be so much profit if they serve all that for just 1 person. also when it’s busy, I guess it’s better to have more than 2 people

  • @nelliehyder2658
    @nelliehyder2658 ปีที่แล้ว

    North Korea appeared to look dark and gloomy.....ominous even. It doesn't look like a happy place to live like South Korea, which is full of color and beautiful places and the pretty pink cherry blossom trees. That is called: a mini whirl-wind-dust-storm. We get them in Texas all the time. Some people call them baby tornadoes. I really enjoyed this video. 😊😊

    I’m watching your recent vlogs in backwards order. I’m also allergic to cats. They definitely approach you more, the less you approach them. I’m also a solo traveler and solo eater. I sometimes have an appetizer and a glass of wine. I thought it was because I don’t eat much. I never thought it might be because food is cooked for 2 or more people- even western food. It’s a possibility. Thank you for showing us what you see. Thanks for the vlog!

    Hello Danny, as much as I appreciate your time and effort of showing us different places of S. Korea, I am worry about you by putting yourself in a predicament situation. It appears that you are alone in no man’s land😵‍💫. Just be careful, please😉 Nonetheless, I think that traveling 🧳 alone is also a self discovery journey 😌. It’s a learning experience that oneself can improve for future circumstances🤗 it would be interesting if you go back years later to the same cafe and see if your note is still there or if you find responses to your orinal note🤔 Hey… you found your 🧋😄. Question, was that a mini tornado? The seaside town looks a bit spooky, it could be that is low season and only a few tourists are stoping by. The motel was interesting. Well the positive thing is that one can adapt or accommodate according to the choices presented to you🙃🙂 the hot springs are always amazing, ideal way to end the hectic day, nice shots there😚and the sunset scenes, wow thanks for bringing it to the audience 🌅gorgeous setting; I can almost feel the ocean 🌊 breeze and the sound of the waves so soothing🎵🎶to our ears. Awesome spot for self reflection and be thankful for life🙏You goofy 🤪 see you in the next vlog💯🫶😘

    Oh dear, so many things I`d like to say this time, but it`s gonna be way too long, so I`ll give my best to shortcut it as much as possible! 😅
    - Beach snails for cosmetics-very interesting; I see countryside cats have some serious attitude, also in Korea😾😂; Hot spring right at the beach, very cool;
    - The glasses are the best example that something stylish and also having style doesn`t have to do with the price level. 😎😉
    - I totally get you on staying in a place you`re usually not used to. When I travel while on tour, I often don`t get to choose the places I stay in and I`ve gotten used to making the best out of any hotel/guesthouse, here are 2 tips: 1. Definitely take your favorite towel (especially for the face) and your own sheet cover for the pillow. Because it`s something from home (gives a nice and familiar feel) and also because otherwise, you can get breakouts on your face. 2. Always walk around the room and the bathroom only with slippers on, not barefoot touching the floor, you don`t want to pick up nasty yeast infections that are so annoying afterward, not to mention the terrible smell. 😩👎😅
    - The Sunset at the beach,gorgeous highlight. I actually love how you made yourself cozy and comfortable with the little things, makes it all the more special and memorable IMO. I have my best moments besides the sea just thinking about things & sorting them, hearing the sounds of the ocean, and feeling the breeze on my face. Nothing compares to that for me, really. 🥰🙌
    Cheers Danny, and thanks so much for another very enjoyable vlog! 🥂🙏 Do you actually feel like you`ve got company when you're filming and talking to the camera? Just curious. 😅

    Always a fan of the window views. The way you provide crisp, complete information is amazing. Always wanted to askb how you choose accommodation in small places where there are no high standard hotels are available? And what do you like more? Solo travel or with group of friends? I appreciate that your main focus while driving was not on the camera. If you're looking for an authentic dining experience, you can't go wrong with the small local eateries! I try at least one meal in travel at a local small eat out place. Love the side dishes provided with the food. Now there are quite a few K.n restaurants in my place..loved it each time I visited there. Keep these coming Dan. Totally loving it. Thank you! How difficult it is to find comfort in another person? How easy it is to be a comfort person for someone.

    I really miss your country. I keep hoping to get another project there, but no luck. This is just the sort of trip I used to love: just me, wandering around, seeing the sights and meeting people.
    That road sign at the beginning though, the one pointing the way to the dolman. I’d have followed that one in a heartbeat. Korea has the largest concentration of neolithic dolmen in the world. My idea of heaven.

    I went to the DMZ back in November and it's so funny how you can see so much of North Korea on the way back and then it just disappears into Incheon. 😂

    This was really cool Dan. Looking over at NK is definitely on my list. Wow, that room you rented would make a good set for a horror film. 😂

    I’ve watched a couple videos & I never realized how lowkey funny this guy is. His reactions and random things he says like he’s scared, I literally bust up. I enjoy going on the solo journey with you, it’s a pleasure. Thank you🤍

    Thank you for bringing us along! That was so cool that you saw those little animals…I tend to avoid skincare products with animal products in them, but it was so cool to see the origin of them, to see them in their natural environment.
    I’ve also been in positions sometimes when I travel somewhere alone and my lodging, while ok, is not super conducive to a comfortable stay (that happened in Busan, actually), and as much as I love travel, I’m not great at…I guess roughing it, like, staying in a spot that is a bit dirty or spot that is in some way a few steps shy of comfortable (unless it is camping and roughing it is one of the points, haha). I really appreciate you showing us how you still made the most of it 😊 I hope to visit a spot where you can see North Korea one day, as well.

    The hot springs look really nice and relaxing. I’ve never been to one myself. The beach looked really fun, especially with all those creatures. I think I would prefer to travel when places are less busy and less noisy. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you for another wonderful video Dan. I love seeing these places where I doubt many people will go to as a tourist, at least not foreigners. And the video shows what I love about traveling alone, because of the experience and how you start to appreciate life! Looking forward to more, Thanks again for making this series.
