Thank youuuuu and God bless you 🙏🏽😭😭 Ha! This is what I've been looking for all this while. I can now interpret my results for my project. Owww thank you so much. It's so clear I understand once and for all I don't need to look for another video. God bless you once again. I'm happy 🎉
Sir i am having difficulty to do perform stats when there are more cells please explain 2 way amova with more than one column say different ph or days and more than one treatments (rows) . Please explain for alteast four each ie rows and columns. I shall be highly thankful. 😮
What is the length of your data or how many cases does your data have? However, if you can share your data, please kindly send it to me on asktitocan@gmail.com for me to take a look at it.
String variables are nominal variables and so they are categorical. It is not possible to run any analysis with a string variable. The mandatory thing to do is to assign quantitative numbers to the cases. My video on "Introduction to SPSS for Beginners (part-1) will be useful to you in this regard. Thank you.
Hi Mr. Mark. Thank for this video. I'm using spss 21 version to analyze my data through the Duncan multiple range test. After analyzing my data, the results doesn't come with posts hoc homogeneous subsets. It only bring the descriptive statistics and the ANOVA table. What do you think is the problem? Can you help me with this problem cause I need to analyze my data using DMRT I would hardly appreciate your timely response. Thanks
If your analysis result didn't come with the post hoc table of results, it means there was no significant difference between or among your variables. Even when you tick the box for a post hoc test, except there is a significant difference, the table of results for post hoc will not be produced. So, let me ask you now, is the value of your P-Value less than .05?
Since the P-Value is not less than .05, it means that there is no significant difference and therefore the analysis will not produce the post hoc table of results. But, if the P-Value is less than .05, then the post hoc results MUST be produced to help identify where the significant difference lies.
LOVE THIS !!! Thank you from Malaysia. Can you advice me for data analysis? I need to test hormone at 4 different concentration, whether individually or in combination with silver nitrate. Total of 8 treatment will be tested. After 4 weeks, i want to observe plant responses based on 4 parameter ( shoot number, shoot length, root number and bud number). What kind of data analysis i should adopt for this experiment? Do you think MANOVA is ok? Thank you.
Dear Nina, Thanks for your useful comment. If you can send your data and research objectives to me at "asktitocan@gmail.com", I should be able to advise you better. But, if you may like us to help you with the data analysis, we may have to charge you. Thank you. Titocan (for Titocan Mark Solutions)

Great video, thanks! How did you run the one-way ANOVA with string variables though? (stations)

The sequence of giving letters can be from right to left also? What thing decide letters direction?
Kindly follow the instructions in the video and you will be fine. Thank you.
