I wouldn't consider this video being anywhere close to "late." Writing, recording, editing, and publishing a video on an update this big in under 48 hours, is well within a reasonable turnaround time. Keep it up.
@@dwatts64 Ye it definitely takes a while to make these. Got off work and instantly started working on the video. Hopefully with my new PC I saved for , the video editing phase gets sped up significantly, as currently editing just lags on my pc xddd!

0:43 Not totally sure; however, the downstream jitterburst update note means that for players like myself who experienced lag at the start of a new match or start of a new round, the amount of information the game sends to valve servers is still the same but they are more than likely spreading it out, it could be seen if you had the telemetry stuff showing while playing before the update where the game would send huge packets and the telemetry graph would show red lines showcasing the large bursts of data. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I noticed since this update. 💯 Love your videos Ravn!! ❤
Hopefully we can finally get a consistent content this upcoming year. This 1st year was pretty disappointing so glad to finally see a new map in. Hope to see more maps (particularity cobble) sooner then an whole year. And blood toggle can't forget blood toggle. Thought a blood color option would also suffice at this point.
@@Ridicule_cs I thought they were awesome until game 3 I killed a guy, ak headshot, his body falls to the ground, and I started to turn my mouse away to transition to the next target and suddenly this MF rises from the dead, crouches, and shoots me in the side of the face. After that happened twice in 5 games, I just turned them off. Maybe if they give me some option to maybe add a tick or two to the prediction before committing, idk.
@ to my understanding, it’s basically taking the middle man out of the current hit detection system, when it works it works well, when it encounters lag or any form of hiccups within the server it can feed false hits, u may hit someone or ur screen but the server sees something else, im sure these settings will be worked on in the future and be made with even great accuracy. It steps in the right direction for sure!
@@dwatts64 yes this has to do with the damage prediction system. I suspect that Valve is still working on it as by default only ragdolls are being predicted. Maybe after some time they iron out the issues it currently has, definitely worth keeping an eye on it for now, but probably best to turn it off for everything else but ragdolls.
@@ravncs yeah I know that's what it was. I thought I'd try toggling on the damage prediction stuff too just to see if I liked it. Tbh it felt as good as CSGO 95% of the time I had it on. It felt snappy and responsive, and I was hitting my sprays and one taps like old times. But those two or three times the damage prediction was off, it was REALLY off and suddenly it felt like Left4Dead seeing them get back up after I killed them lol. After it cost me a round of two because of wonky predictions, I turned it back off. I'll try it again in a few updates if/when they start making a few adjustments to it. I really do think it's going to get better and will eventually be great, it just needs a smidge of fine tuning.
Fr i think cs2 feels nowadays better then csgo. It is different, for sure and also not always very crisp, but it goes on and o. Players feel the improvement. Edit: love to you my guy ❤
While i appreciate your video, i think you are way too soft with valve. Cs2 is still bad, subtick is still the worst and the cheater problem is horrible.
While I agree that the game is still in a pretty rough state, I think its still important to also highlight the positive stuff. The Amount of negativity the Developers of Counter-Strike receive is just absolutely mind blowing. Its probably also the reason as to why they simply stopped communication with the community directly , which you can still see in other Valve titles.

I'd assume as soon as they get done with fixing the issues that plague the game, then we will get more content drops
The Network adjustments did indeed fix the issue my duo and I were having, good update valve for sure, the dmg prediction settings are awesome aswell!

2:33 I just dont understand whats the point on removing maps. Just leave them as casual maps.
Probably with too many maps queue times would get too long for some of them , which could cause issues
