Yes. I couldn't see myself ever using a turntable if this quality to play 78's
Why are you putting a felt mat on an Acrylic platter? You DO NOT need a mat on an Acrylic platter and I'll only worsen sound quality and build static.
There are advantages and disadvantages to the mat.
It is strange some X2’s have a shepherds hook anti skate and others have a second little peg to hang the weight.
So strange.... also the arm yoke is different...
@@alexanderlee896The arm with hook anti-skate and the more rounded yoke is the earlier and cheaper 9cc tonearm. All the X2s I've previously seen have the later more expensive Evo 9cc arm. which has a more substantial, flat on top, yoke with the brass peg. If I was buying that table I would want it fitted with the more recent Evo arm, which is the one featured in all the official adverts that I've seen. Check it out.............
