    thank you very much for your video guide,I want to simulate the particle scattering on the substrate and observe the distribution of the particle scattering field in the upper hemisphere of the specified radius. Because I used the spherical PML layer, I used the official community method, and calculated the background field through the Fresnel equation first. Because total field = background field + scattering field, I adopted the simulation result: total field-background field, but the obtained field distribution map was inconsistent with the references. Sorry to bother you, I sincerely hope you can give me some advice and guidance

    I changed the electric field displacement model to relative permittivity from the refractive index. But it gives an error as below. Undefined value found.
    - Detail: NaN or Inf found when solving linear system using SOR.
    Why is it?

    If you want to model randomly distributed nanoparticles how to do this, I would be grateful if you suggest any solutions.
