run a 12.0 batt in all your milwaulkee "big" tools and you will love them! be careful not to tuck the powerhead in your arm pit when using, the air vents are small and this can cause the overheating issues you may hear about.ive got the branch cutter also with mine and it works awesome!
Did it heat up, ive heard of melted batteries, but thinking this probably happens because of bad connection of battery terminal causing arcing between them.
@@The442nd Mine came with a strap, I actually thought mine wouldn’t come with one when I bought mine so I bought an extra strap and then had to return the extra strap once I realized I had one in the box.
@@The442nd no battery or charger. Depending on where you bought yours they come in different packages, some with batteries and chargers or some come with different accessories, attachments extra. You can order a strap online or buy one at a local retail store that carries Milwaukee tools.
The comment below this one, he talks about making sure there’s air flow to the power head. Not sure if that will help you but it’s something worth watching out for. So far mine has not overheated with any attachments. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.
The new Gen 2 power head has a lot more cooling slots and is suppose to run a lot cooler (Milwaukee has a few vids on TH-cam about the new Gen 2 power head.) Also the new Forge series batteries run cooler too. The new Gen 2 power head is coming out in November, that's why they are selling the old Gen 1 power heads cheap now.
The Gen 2 power head is coming out in November is suppose to fix the overheating (has a bigger motor, bigger fan and a lot more cooling slots) and has 30% more power, and 3 speeds instead of 2 and I think will run at a lot higher rpms like a gas one does.

No it worked just fine. I’ve had no issues with it so far. Thanks for the question.
@@JessesChannelthanks for that...
Thanks for that...👍🏻
Thank you, sorry I missed your comment.
Good review!
Glad you enjoyed it
How long does one battery charge last?
I got about an hour of trimming out of a 8amp hour battery. Thanks for the question.
Did that strap come with your trimmer kit?
Yes it did. The strap is a must have in my opinion. Thanks for the question.
@@JessesChannel I just bought mine. Paid $299.00 for it. Came with a battery and charger, but no strap 😑

Mine overheats pretty fast even when the string is very short. But it's fine when I attach the pole saw or edger attachments. Any ideas anyone.

Yes it will overheat 😡. It is quite annoying. I bought a second motor head just to switch them out when it does.
@@azimmey so far mine hasn’t over heated yet. I have heard about other people having issues with them though. Thanks for the comment
