- The Mount Shasta region is one of Northern California’s fastest growing locations for destination vacationing-from luxury resort retreats to wilderness camping. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities our region has to offer.
Mount Shasta is a city in Siskiyou County, California, at about 3,600 feet (1,100 m) above sea level on the flanks of Mount Shasta, a prominent northern California landmark. The city is less than 9 miles (14 km) southwest of the summit of its namesake volcano.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
The Real Beauty of Mt. Shasta is not in the downtown or downtown residential areas, but in the surrounding wooded areas just outside the main stuff where the lucky people live. Thank you God for such a beautiful place .

You’re most welcome 🙏🏼
Nice video, I am searching information, because in August I want to go to Mount Shasta retreat. Please if can help me how to go from Providence RI.
Thank you so much
Hello, I think the easiest way to go there is flying to Sacramento from RI. From there, you’ll have to drive to Mt. Shasta about 4 hours.
If you want to live between the railroad and the freeway noise good luck on that one. I lived there for 3 years and left there because of the winters and noise. 3 months out of the year was not enough to make me stay.
Sorry to hear that
Haha it’s not that bad. I’ve lived here for 20yrs now.
Boy, did you miss it. You should not have taken that first left.
I’m so sorry, our mistake. We weren’t familiar with the area 🙏🏼
