Merlin love the build. I saw a tip where you drill a hole just big enough for the nut side of a washer face nut and you weld the nut into the plate around that washer face. Refer Karl Fisher Make it Kustom. Sweet idea for welded in nuts.

You have to fix the audio, had speakers turned right up and could just hear most of what you said, then the music came on and nearly blew me out of my chair. Loving the build, first saw it when Paul came to visit, now binge watching to catch up on it.

Merlon, just subbed coming from FAB RATS, that Dodge is just unreal, is that main a 6 or 7 spd Spicer? In the old days the truckers called the auxiliary trans a "Brownie" as many were made by the Brown-Lipe CO. We had a 45 Jeep CJ-2A with a transfer case made by Brown-Lipe, apparently under license from Dana as parts for a Dana 18 fit it. Is that a 3 or 4 speed "Brownie"? The back to back 4 link rear looks clean, can hardly wait to see the finished truck!
weird question. but does your forklift have an F2 Mazda engine? it sounds like my '93 mazda B2200 did when it was bone stock and i do know the same engine is used in quite a few forklifts
What was the percentage of ur muriatic you used. Big box stores only sell a green version of it and used to sell 8%. I have 48% that is mean as hell and always has to be watered down to use.
Does the front axle get a second pinion gear on the backs side to drive the back axle? Is that why the back axle is upside down and turns the opposite direction?
Where are you located? I saw one of the boat videos where you were on Havasu. The Tow Mater video def looked like AZ. Your shop surroundings look like the Havasu area, potentially So NV. But then you said something about snow…so I’m thoroughly confused and have no clue. Saw you at KOH with Paul and just subscribed. I dig the content!!

Thought you would have welded some diamond shaped plates in like Paul does when he joins frames together. But I guess that solid plate on the other side will do the trick?
I would love to find a REO and put a Detroit Diesel in it like this. I built a rat rod Peterbuilt pickup truck with a Buick Fireball straight eight that turned out awesome. I sold it for 30K and the next guy really worked on it and sold it for over 100K. It has stainless steel and copper plating all over it. Really awesome builds.
You probably already noticed that the space between the rear tires is at least twice as wide as it should be. It looks odd. Now Spot On On the rest of the build.

That odd that the 34 is a 1/4" frame. I am doing a 36 1-1/2 ton and it is 3/16". I like that spliter box you have on there what kind is it?
I wonder if they made the channel taller on the 36 and that’s why they went back to a thinner material that’s crazy your frame is thinner
@@MerlinsOldSchoolGarage was 7" tall. The new frame is 2x8x3/16, yours sure is getting done alot faster then mine.
