Yeah, I'm not a very experienced player but I get flamed by people for using my ult to confirm kills. I feel like in the early game there aren't many circumstances where I would rather have an ult off cooldown than a kill.
When I got told you were able to denie it made comletley sense to me I mean when you denie that takes away the Last Hit away from the Opponent which means you take aq the Money from so thats kind of clever.
I wish we still had more of these types of games, ones where people just buy whatever items they can think of. Stuff like that Nature's Prophet build are slowly vanishing and that sucks. Also, Clit of Steel was a champion!
God, I really feel for that Invoker. He's easily the best guy on his team, plays really well and reacts perfectly to almost every situation. He just happens to get stuck with a Naga who doesn't sing, and a Viper and Brewmaster who don't know how to play.
Getting used to hotkeys can be hard as hell, but it'll improve and expand your dota experience by a huge amount. with just a few hours of practice, you'll be comfortably using spells and items, hotkeys are adjustable so you can just make it however feels comfortable for you
Purge and pyrion you two have NO idea how many people dont know what track does, people just tell them "ahh reveals invis, nothing more lulz" and they just roll with it.
The "low priority" pop-up at the beginning told me everything I need to know about this game. I got stuck in LP matchmaking for a day, and I won lost games by simply sticking around while the entire enemy team disconnected one by one. >_>
I sometimes get a BF after drum on Bounty Hunter. It lets you solo split push as well as farm neutrals in between ganks very well. Also lets you splash Jinada crits onto multiple heroes. I find that he does need the regen as well, I max Q first and I use it quite a bit.
I love watching these. You know the reason why all these new players are probably scared to use Ultimates is because they probably played LoL. In LoL the ultis have HUGE CDs. That would explain that.
If you want to see some higher skill level commentary by Purge then just watch his regular videos, especially the replay commentary ones where he actually gives insight into his (and others') mistakes. Most mid-level replays just aren't very interesting to watch, as there's not much silly stuff (like the beginner games) or big plays (like the high skill matches) going on.
