Super random but a gift idea or just an idea in general for Stephen / the house would be to get permanent christmas lights! Ive seen them on tick tock and you can keep them up all year round and they have a bunch of different light settings for all holidays & even just casual house lighting in white!
I love keeping up with your channel. My son is 10 months old so you’re always a few steps ahead and shows me basics of what to expect with him! I dont have any mom friends so you’re the next best thing 😂

My daughter would randomly go through sleep disturbances like that. Some nights it would take an hour to help her go to sleep. But now we're back to our normal 20 minutes (after books and such). Also my daughter would pick a "bedtime favorite" and only want them to help her go to sleep. We have always alternated. Now we tell her around bedtime who's turn it is and that they are so excited to get to read her her book and rock and snuggle with her. It takes time but most changes like that are just phases. Hang in there 💜
Btw her bedtime favorite usually was either who saw her most that day or who saw her least, it's so hard to not take it personal, but it really isn't because they love one parent more. At one point my husband was out of the house more and she would go to sleep easier for him and then our work situation switched and it became easier for me to get her to bed. But we never would have known that was the reason if we hadn't had that big work switch. Or it was because one was comfier, or read more or held her differently.
My husband was so upset when our first baby went through the “no only mommy will do” stages but it goes back and forth. There will be stages of only mommy and only daddy, still hurts a little tho lol our youngest is a very big mommas boy but he’s going through a daddy only stage right now and I miss my snuggles!! 😂

We re-used the same tags every year growing up. I guess we re-used wrapping paper too, as a child I remember knowing to unwrap a present carefully 😂
