Did you not have any EMI issues at all? I've got a pimax and a Vive Pro, and can't use either when the SFX100 is turned on.. almost ready to sell the thing =/
@Dave Peterson were you able to solve you EMI issue? I've heard that good grounding and shielded cables should be enough. I want to build one but those issues makes me hesitant.
@@arminglf I did yes, but not via shielded cables and grounding, because I did all that and still had no luck. In the end, I wrapped my VR headset cable through a huge ferrite core about 5 times, and that solved ALL the problems. Not all ferrite cores are created equal so it seems, so remind me to find out which one I bought when I can check.
@@DavePetersonMD that's wonderful news mate! and encouraged me to give it a go. If I have issues with mine I'll send you a message. And just wondering, are using any motion compensation method or you're happy without it?
That looks good, enjoy!
Are you using motion compensation or is it still ok without it in VR? Thanks
I don't use motion compensation. No issues with VR 🙂

Is the seat movable in this system? Nice Video btw.! thanks!
Yes, the seat is movable. I mounted it on the rails from the seat itself.

If you have to ask, this is not the system for you.
Indeed. I built it myself. www.rowanhick.com/sfx-100-build-and-running-guide
