Another awesome video there sir, my dad had a 220 that he bought new in 72 and he still talks about how it’s his favorite tractor that he’s ever had. I would love to get one and get another 1206 IH because I’ve regretted selling mine immediately after it left the farm. In the late 80’s they were both cheap tractors that nobody wanted and now that I am trying to get one they’re twice as much as they were new

That Allis Chalmers 220 is a Kick Ass Tractor, I drove the Allis Chalmers 200 in 2001 with a Brush Hog mowing 7 ft tall Weeds. Can't wait to se it up and running again :-)

Love the videos as a new subscriber! One suggestion. when you're explaining your plans for the video, it's easy to start pacing back and forth out of habit...but it's super distracting because you have so much cool stuff behind you. Grab a tripod or magnet mount and it help while your chatting about the tractor. You're doing a great job and I'm learning all kinds of stuff about AC's that I didn't know I needed to know. Cheers

Helped farm with a dear friend in the late 70’s 3 wd45’s a d17 with a loader and scraper and the beast d-19 with which we plowed planted picked and anything else and there were no cabs on the tractors just heathausers with holes in em and I miss it dearly

Agree with you about the 21 and the 220, sharp Rigs, beefy! And always got a hoot out of the Tach drive coming off the back of the generator or alternator :) crazy!

I’m new to farming and I’ve been watching all kinds of videos on tractors and farming equipment eventually going to purchase some antique stuff just to do my own farming on a Homestead. That’s a cool little sickle bar cutter behind you thanks for the video. I really love the Farmall international brand so far it’s my favorite. Retired fire fighter looking to buy a little land we have some sheep now and I wanna grow my own feed in butcher my own meat.

I enjoy each and every video. I find the tractors you bring home intriguing and very interesting weather in pieces or complete. The Allis 220 is a true brute of its day and now. A very saot after tractor too. The 7000 open station is just as rare tho. And a beaut as well. You have others there that are really neat like the 8070,and 7060,the 190 was Allis answer to the 4020 and it is a great tractor too. Thank you for the videos I could ramble on and on. You have a great thing going and when you have time let us know on the sweatshirts hats and T-shirts

That styling of AC tractors are my favorite of all tractors of any brand. Had a couple xt190's years ago.The only problem with them in my humble opinion is that AC hung onto the hand clutch too long. Try roll baling with hyd. tie on an XT. You need another arm.😁

In my opinion, the "meanest looking" tractor Allis ever built, was the 220FWA 😎 You GOTTA have pretty deep pockets to have a nice one of them in your shed though. With only 100 built, there are just 30 or so still known to exist today. I'm pretty sure there are a few more around, just not something you come across very often.
I really like the D15II! I think I might even trade my Black Bar D17 for one 🤨

Hey there young man liked ur video, but if u rebuild that motor ( the 426 were very strong and reliable)do what u want but i personally wouldn't use either in the future as i believe it reduces engine life in the long run, glow plugs and engine heat plugs are way more sensible

  • @kevinjones8037

Dear Tractor companies why don’t most of you find an old lorry Frame or even rebuild a brand New Lorry Frame to build stronger and better Tractors and put those Scania N113, Volvo B10M, Volvo D10A, Volvo TD102KF, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel engines and put on all of those Leyland Hydra cyclic Automatic 4 and 5 Speed Gearboxes for those stronger better Tractors so they can still use them for any farms and even use them for the Mechanics so they can even lift a broken down Bigger Buses and also lift all of the broken down Lorries, why don’t you build 6 and 7 seats so that other passengers can sit at the back and front including the driver. You can still build those four small stronger medium sizes wheels and still make them even more useful for the Mechanic farm tractor than it still was before, please can you do those exciting idea’s for us tractor Lovers.
