Absolutely phenomenal edit. I’m a new filmmaker and EUC rider from Toronto and would love to document rides like this. Mind sharing what camera was on that gimbal of yours? I know it ain’t an iPhone recording all that lol. How do you have the courage to ride with such expensive gear, at such high speeds, and be able to frame a shot while maneuvering city terrain. I would really like to hear from a filmmaker, as a filmmaker! Thanks
Hello and nice to meet you! Getting started filming is no easy task. We started here with cheaper action cameras, then phones, and now mirrorless cameras on gimbals. We are now shooting on a Sony FX3. All together we've got more than $5k of gear while barreling through the city on an EUC. Definitely don't want to crash, but we have done so. When we fell it was very expensive, but it's all worth it since we love this hobby. 👽🖖

@@andrewsudyk373 The gimbal we currently use is a Crane 3 LAB, that plus the built-in optical stabilization of the lenses definitely help make it look smoother. The past 5 videos have also been shot while riding a Begode EX.N so we can keep up with the fast riders. What EUC do you use while filming?
@@stephencrompton6480 I Rock the V10f with 7000 km on the odometer, but would never film with anything more than a gopro or 360 cam personally😅. Even though I’m a confident rider, I would be hesitant to ride while holding my $8000 setup (RS2 gimbal, FX3, lens, mic…) WHILE also having to frame that shot every few seconds. I don’t think its worth that one inevitable pothole you’ll miss, and seeing your whole filming rig slam into cement at 40km/h +. If only there was a way I could just hold the gimbal, but have someone stationary framing the shots. A man can dream. I’m really glad there are people out there brave/confident enough to do this, but I’ll pass. I seriously applaud you, but still cant wrap my head around such level of risk. High risk, high reward i guess. At the end of the day, the shots you pull off are unrealll and the viewers appreciate it

Any app developers out there? I searched for a group ride meet up app and the only one I could find was from Germany and it does not fit what we do. We need one for e enthusiasts. But one with a map that details the current location of group rides so one can join any time anywhere no matter if they are already gone. Also one that gives notifications of such group rides if they are nearby or whatever. Unless there is one already but there wasn’t one on apps app. It should also have a tinder feature to meet potential e friends for rides. Users will have public or private profiles and photos as well as bio information pertaining to their e vehicle. Strictly platonic e vehicling. Is there one out there?
Please by all means develop this app. You will not make any real money maybe down the line but it is definitely something the e community can use.
An app for that would be pretty sweet. So far most groups finds what works for them, for the group near me we use a facebook group to organize. 👽🖖

@@AlienRides I feel touching someone's car "gingerly" helps get a better sense of dimension. Kinda like the whiskers on a cat. Plus you can feel a displacement of motion if the car shifts in your direction suddenly...

ATENTION!! I'm a single father who had lost his job a while back and moved and my wife cheated on me so now I'm a single father using a bicycle is transportation and my job is 6-7 miles away and up and down hills by the time I'm getting there I'm exhausted and I'm having to go to extreme measures to try to find someone who knows about the scooters to know what would be the cheapest but most powerful way to go to where I could go at least 10 miles within a day and up and down hills without tearing it up and if you know somebody that might donate one and I could pay the shipping or I could pay monthly payments anything I need one extremely badly if I want to keep my job thank you
If you're exhausted on a bike, you're going to need a powerful scooter to ride these hills so that doesn't sound like the kind of thing someone might donate. Just try one of these rental scooters from Bird/Lime/Skip for yourself and you'll see how much they struggle on hills. These are the kinds of scooters you can get for ~$500 or so, if you want one that can climb easily and for miles you'll need to spend at least 3x that amount. Just keep going with the bike, make sure your tires are well inflated and learn which gears fit what terrain. 6-7 miles is really not much, you just need to keep practicing and it'll get easier day by day. I used to do 9 each way every day (with hills) for my commute; the first day kicked my ass but after a few weeks it took me about 30 minutes and after 6 months of this daily exercise I was in the best shape of my life and was looking forward to the morning and evening rides every single day. Anyway I didn't know if there were companies out there that were able to do payment plans and I heard that sometimes you could do a review on a product in the company would let you keep the product but meaning that probably the one I would have to use is fairly expensive I don't know if that would be possible but doing a commute on a bicycle isn't the funnest thing but it definitely has this blessings I mean good shape I I just kind of had to swallow my pride and look out there and see if there was possibility anyway thank you for your time and energy God bless
Sorry to hear about that, that is a tough situation to be in. It's rare to be able to keep a scooter for a review, I'm probably one of the few that can do that, after years of building this channel. In your position, one option may be an e-bike conversion kit if you can't afford a powerful scooter. Good luck with getting a nice PEV. 👽🖖
