- Hey I haven't made a long form video in a while and since I've been hooked on helldivers recently I and the new warbond dropped. I figured I would make a video. Its not perfect at all lol, no script so I stutter sometimes as I search for my words and I was yapping a lot so I cut a lot of footage from this. But I look froward to start uploading more long form more regularly. Hope you enjoy and learn something from this

instead of the shield i use the the ammo package (or however its called in english). So you are able to use the stalwart for a longer time without worrying about running out of ammo at one point
If you have the Eruptor, you don't need the grenade pistol, it kind of does the same thing as the eruptor. But what you do need is protection from the chaff and little stuff that gets up close. The SMG combined with the laser rover is a good plan for dealing with the up close small stuff. And for the really big stuff the Quasar and stratagems.

Honestly dude, here's your 500kgs of salt and I'm not gonna sugarcoat it.
I'm feeling salty at the HD2 youtube meta landscape and seething at the lack of imagination its fostering. 90 percent of the arsenal is perfectly viable and what has become perceived as "the best loadouts" by every YT hack riding the Helldivers gravy train has resulted in everyone playing the exact same way and complaining about the game being boring. I'm absolutely looking at: shieldpack, quasar, laser orbital and 500kg getting bodied by their own cooldowns and dying endlessly cause their crutches are now locked behind a mob of bots cause they wanted to solo a team based game. It's a solid loadout, but pretty tailored to stealth/solo and doesn't take into great account the often unpredictable actions of teammates.
I'm taking inspiration from playing with newer players to see how they load out without lots of fancy gear, and it's been pretty enlightening. One absolute madlad brought on four turrets and it's changed my entire perspective. It's translated into getting really good at creating backline support consistently, and that makes everyone else perform better. Everyone knows where to throw supplies. If they die, I'm in the back ready to reinforce. Et cetera. Because it's a team game, and I want to have fun with it like that guy was, but still play like a skull admiral.
tl;dr NPCs are already in the game, they're TH-cam meta slaves.
tl;dr2: Shieldpack users have a literal skill issue.
@@julietkilo9716 I completely feel you my man no offense taken here. I was just sharing what’s been working best for me. And yes I do have a skill issue hence why I use the shield pack 🤣

Change that starwalt for a hmg. The shield for the supply pack. Play on 7 min And put some heavy armor on. And smile.
Then collect those super samples solider!

Fore sidearm, it's gotta be the uzi or grenade, agree.
There's a number of good main weapons though. I'm rather fond of the Scorcher. But the new Eruptor is really good, yeah.
I don't use the shield generator pack on any mission type.
Stalwart pairs very well with the Eruptor, just think of them as primary & support roles being swapped around.
Really things vary based on the mission/foe type though. Even mines can be great on the new base defense missions.
I especially like the orbital laser & orbital railgun, then the 500kg (or possibly cluster for bugs).
i do a lot of grenade launcher & supply backpack, OR autocannon. Quasar, and EATS are extremely good too though for heavies (bug or bot) or drop ships.
I agree with everything you’ve said. I normally only use the shield pack when I’m solo. So that’s something you can def switch out If you’re with a team.
@@maxbossman1 Shield is definitely more tempting vs bots. It's almost good enough that I'm tempted to use it. but generally end up preferring to have something else to add offensive ability :) I definitely wouldn't criticize using it. I just feel a little safer with something which adds more boom :)
I found the shield more tempting when using light armor though. Especially with like a recon/stealthy kinda loadout. Lately I've been using a medium armor with the 6 stims med-buff. The +2 seconds of stim effect is 'very' strong for keeping you alive in a bad situation (the +2 seconds is the main benefit, the +2 stims just lets you abuse it more). It's 'just enough' armor to take many types of hits and survive, and then the stims remove the risk of further damage and fix the initial damage. Which makes the shield less tempting ;)
I haven’t used the ballistic shield yet but one of my friends told me that’s it’s a great option for the bots. If seen people survive a direct hit from the tower canon or whatever it’s called using it. As for armour my current favourites are the one that give out the med buff. I think my variant is the medium one. Explosive resistance is also a great option against bots.
Stalwart has a remarkable synergy with Eruptor, and they're both great fun to use.
For bugs, rate of fire and rounds per mag are critical.
Quasar cannon, guard laser dog, energy scythe, 500 kg and railcannon. Quasar is just broken with its one shot ability on titan's chargers. able to kill objectives from afar. able to kill bug holes. and its infinite ammo with your primary. Don't need ammo supply ever really unless you need stims.
This is basically my 2nd go-to loadout
What armor is that? That looks badass
Armor is Bonesnapper which is in the normal warbond. Helmet is the Enforcer which is part of shop rotation.

Maybee fun, but not best by any means. Other weapons does what both stahlwart and eruptor does, but better. Certainly better than that pos eruptor.
You are playing on challenging... If you want a good loadout play on helldive and come back

@@Capper_Bra it’s not a solo game. Considering most of your helldivers content are solo guides I get why you are pestering me about this now. Yeah it’s not the “best” why? Cause that’s subjective to your play style and team size. This loadout is pretty good still and I don’t need your blessing to think that
