How To Play Kiddie Pool Kickball
    What you need:
Anywhere from 8 to 20 players per team.
A large grassy area. We used a little league grass infield.
A water source that can be split into two to provide constant pool refilling and slide rewetting.
Number of needed hoses vary. Also may need a splitter.
Four inflatable kiddie pools. We used 3-ring pools that were 5.4’ in diameter x 1.2’ height.
Two boxes of plastic sheeting, 6mil 6’x100 each. We bought ours at Home Depot online for $33 each.
    Tear-free soap
Three or four cheap bouncy balls, anywhere from 12”-24” diameter.
Eight or so pool noodles (optional)
Don’t forget to have plenty of drinking water and some sunblock!
    The Setup:
Roll out 50’ of the plastic sheeting to make base path from “home” to “first.” Place a pool at the home end and fill with water. Fold the remaining 50’ over and roll out to “second.” Place a pool at first and fill. Repeat to finish the base paths. You should not have to do any cutting. Make sure they are pulled tight and as secure as possible under each pool and you should have very minimal adjusting during the game. We really do not recommend using spikes. Pour out some tear-free soap on the base paths and then water. Set your teams, sing your national anthem, and yell, “Play ball!”
    The Rules:
Kickball is played pretty much like baseball, but kicking rather than batting. You can play 3-5 innings, whatever suits you. Three outs per inning. To be safe on base, you must be seated or “down” in the pool. You cannot lead off or steal bases. You must have both feet in pool until ball is kicked. There is no bunting allowed. Players in the field can beat the runners as they run, but never stand on or block base paths. You can force out, tag out, or peg out the runners. We recommend regulating over-aggressiveness to help avoid injuries. Play to have a blast!
    Disclaimer:
There will be a lot of slipping, sliding, and falling involved. Play safe and at your own risk. Depending on your type of group, you may want to consider medical waivers/releases ... just in case.

Looks super fun! It looks like you're at a public baseball field. Where'd you find a constant water supply from?

Hi nice video! But what type of mats did you use? And is it very injury-prone? Thank you!
