Great job guys....I tried this last Sunday for my youth group but we got rained out. I hope to do it again soon. I appreciate your ideas and info. Thanks
we are at it again tomorrow for our sons graduation party !! All of the teens are pretty excited about it. The only rule I added was that you have to slide into every base. Thanks for the videos
+Reese Gaming thanks! we would love to upload once a week, but it's hard to put together/film/edit a good quality video in that time right now (specially since we have work/other things that get in the way). We are filming a huge project on sunday that has been taking up a lot of our free time lately. Once we shoot that we will try to release a new video at least every 10 days.
+Reese Gaming I'm editing our latest video now, it's a mario type mini game, should be done in a week or two. Thanks for the suggestion, a trick shot video would be fun
+Johnny Crosskey thanks! We use 3ft x 50ft for the baselines, we have tried longer/shorter but 50ft seems to work the best. I also recommend putting in a drop or two of food coloring in the pools (makes for some awesome pictures)
+Dylan Goldsmith after the third inning 1st and 2nd had to be refilled. Then we refilled third and home base never had to get refilled (but we used a bigger pool)
unfortunately a table cloth is too thin (and not slippery enough). They sell that 3ft x 50ft painters tarp at walmart for like 3 or 4 bucks, i would use that
+GC Valeo That would be awesome, it's a perfect game for their age. Water alone is not enough,, you will need something else. If you have them wear shoes, or put a lot of water over the detergent (so it's not as concentrated) that will help. You could also use tarps instead of dropcloth since tarps are less slippery and are about the same price (only thing is you will have to cut the tarps.
I used Tear-Free Baby Shampoo (from the Dollar Tree) on ours for my 10 year old's bday party. The kids had a great time and they smelled like babies afterwards. Lol.
it's pretty slippery without the soap..but you really need some sort of lubricant to get the full effect. You could always put sunscreen on the kids feet
An idea could be that the tarp would only be the last half of the base line. For example the tarp would be from halfway to first base to first base so you could get more momentum and get a better slide.
Hey, my birthday is in two months, and I'd love to do the same here in Germany on a soccerfield but what I personally don't understand is that you need ; 3x50 drop cloth. Sorry for that stupid answer but what does "mil" mean?

I recommend using Johnson and Johnson’s baby soap, in case it gets in the eye it won’t burn and the slip is pretty good.

No problem! Hopefully you guys can try it next weekend

Thats awesome, great idea with the rule change. We have been trying out new rules for our slip and kick games as well (like adding hurdles)
Thanks!! You’re awesome!! ☀️❤️☀️❤️☀️
thanks!
Yyy B p

+Reese Gaming I forgot to ask, what kind of videos do you want us to do more of?
+NothingTo DoCrew maybe another cool mini game, or a trick shot video👍

Nice tut man!
Ok thanks a bunch.
Great tutorial. I'm doing this game as a fundraiser event for the Multiple Sclerosis Walk. Quick question, what's the distance between baselines?
+Johnny Crosskey thanks! We use 3ft x 50ft for the baselines, we have tried longer/shorter but 50ft seems to work the best. I also recommend putting in a drop or two of food coloring in the pools (makes for some awesome pictures)
Cool! That was the one part I was trying to figure out. Thank you so much!
GREAT !!!!
Hey i'm planning on playing this over the summer and was wondering whats the best way to fill/keep the pools filled
We kept a hose nearby, but a couple buckets would work as well.
+NothingTo DoCrew how often did they need to be refilled?
+Dylan Goldsmith after the third inning 1st and 2nd had to be refilled. Then we refilled third and home base never had to get refilled (but we used a bigger pool)
+NothingTo DoCrew okay cool thank you!
Great video, thanks I want to do this for the youth at my church on the 4th of July.. how may bags of the drop cloth will I need?
Alexis Deloach you will need 4 rolls (3x50). You can get them from any of the big box stores (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes)
Alexis Deloach I'm doing it for the 4th of July to
Angelique Hegar post pics and I will as well have fun!
thank you!!!
How thick does the plastic sheeting have to be? does a regular plastic tablecloth work? Please let me know, thank you

I love this!!!
I want to do this for kids party age range 6-10. I feel like detergent may be too slippery. will you not slide if you leave that out?

Just curious. Why do you recommend cardboard or carpet underneath the drop clothe?
Connor de la Vega 1-so you don’t slide over any sticks/tree roots. 2-so you don’t twist an ankle on any soft spots/mole holes. I
@@NothingToDoCrewThat makes sense! Thanks so much!
Did you buy one pack of drop clothe?
I bought one pack for each running lane…you could always buy a bigger roll and cut it if you wanted to save money
Is it necessary to use steaks or anything to keep the tarps down? Can we go without?
You can use the pools to keep it in place long as it's not too windy
+NothingTo DoCrew ok thanks!
I want to do this but at the park I reserved doesn't have a water hose do you have any suggestions?
Maybe use buckets to carry the water?
How many hdx did u guys use
Savage boys 4 total
We're did u get the ball

Should probably note that you should use field paint. You can buy it for about $10/can and it is safer for the grass.
Very true! Field paint great stuff, but it's 10x more expensive. The spray paint takes about 10 days to disappear from your grass
And my other question ^^ where did you buy the drop cloth, cuz here in Germany it is soo expensive !!
+Inaam Hijazi In the U.S. they sell it everywhere! Hardware stores, supermarkets, and online. Here is a link to some online: go.magik.ly/ml/a56/
What did you use for the archways?
Pvc tubes inside hollow pool noodles. If anyone else is curious send me a message on fb and I will show you some other arches we made
what size was the big rectangular home Base
+Daniel bagby here's the specs: go.magik.ly/ml/ebu/
What kind of ball did you use?
Just a regular kickball
Hey, my birthday is in two months, and I'd love to do the same here in Germany on a soccerfield but what I personally don't understand is that you need ; 3x50 drop cloth. Sorry for that stupid answer but what does "mil" mean?
No problem, I mean 3ft wide by 50ft long (they sells rolls of it that long in the us, I'm sure they have something similar in Duetschland)
+NothingTo DoCrew ok so 'mil' stands for 3x50 and what does the 7 mean; cuz u wrote '7 mil' ?
+Inaam Hijazi mil= millimeters (though thickness doesn't really matter)
so... you're holding down the drop cloth with some metal steaks... is that really safe?
Not in that video, we used plastic shutter pegs. But the 2nd time we played we did, long as you sing the metal stakes in below the ground it's nbd
K thanks
Did the steaks you put down hurt anyone when they slid
No, we hammered them in the grass lower then the grass
tag them
wheres the full video?
+maggie McDonald I put a link to the full video in the description
A tree house that a slipping n slide comes out a it goes into a pool
