The truth is this environmental crisis would not be taking place if neighbouring countries had prevented Communist China from invading and occupying Tibet in 1959, compelling Tibetan leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to seek refuge in India. Chinese regime's claim that Tibet has been a part of China since "ancient times" is a big lie. If so, why China did not defend Tibet when it was invaded in 1903 by a British mission, lead by Col. Younghusband? This shows Tibet was then not part of China. Peace and tranquil environment will prevail in Asia and world only after restoration of Tibet as an independent buffer zone between India and China. Otherwise all have to suffer the reality of the slogan, "China lie, people die".
