This makes me sad..... He is and was a legend but all those drugs (30+) years being hardcore has fucked his voice up. I love him still though metal wouldn't be with out liebling :)
Drugs, cigarettes, etc. But you might also consider he's over 60 now. No 60 year old man still has as powerful and clear a voice as he did when he was 25 or 30- that's just biology. Bobby's voice may be different and a little ragged, but at least he still hits most of his notes on pitch. Ozzy is making millions for singing a half or whole step flat a lot of the time. Halford doesn't even try to hit certain notes anymore at all. Just sayin'.
