I've driven it on nascar for psp and I realize it's just a game, but if it is an accurate representation of the track it's definitely unique and I like it. I had to Google it to see if it was a fantasy track, nope, just closed down, sad, irs a goodun.
This is my real name, just not that Ryan Moore 😂 it felt odd hearing my name come out of BP and Weber's mouth over and over. I watch the podcast weekly Darian!
I loved the Chance 2 days. I got to meet Truex and Moore while they were running Busch North. It was awesome to see them both race for my favorite driver in Dale Jr. They always had great looking cars, and great drivers. I miss those days. Great video!
When Chance 2 shut down after 2005, that was when Junior and Theresa started butting heads if I’m not mistaken. Sure enough a year and a few months later, announces JRM development and departure from DEI.
Man can Dale pick cup drivers or what? Mtj, Brad K, Chase (although that was probably more Rick Hendrick honestly). 3 cup champions drove for him through the years, and i didn't realize until this video that mtj had driven for Dale as an owner. What an awesome legacy, didn't take jrm long to become a dominant team picking up where chance 2 left off. I still believe Dale Sr is proud of them kids, keeping his legacy and the family business going. If Theresa wasn't stupid and greedy who knows where dei and chance 2 would be today.
That's my boy damn hard to believe 20 years flew by I remember the 1st chance 2 race and that Richmond race where he lead almost every lap and the Dale Sr tribute concert race he won at Talladega in the Busch Series in 2004. Ill be 41 next month but most of this happened when I was early 20's
Ah the Taco Bell car I remember that car in bristol and Chance 2 motorsport was stepping stone to now successful Jr Motorsports. Maybe they could be a cup team unless Hendricks steps down and let Dale Jr/Gordon run the team, I could see that.
Someone sponsor Junior for the CUP series. Maybe Budweiser. Josh Berry or Allgaier and Truex has sure made the most of himself, kinda like my man Harvick whom can actually drive a crap car up.
Dude. It’s crazy to think the other racers that Martin Truex raced with! His career was beginning at the tail end of a lot of amazing drivers. He has a lot of connections. I’m also a Ryan Truex fan as well. They’re both late bloomers.
Does anyone have the link to that “Talladega BR” video? I remember they also talked to Steve Park about using Nr2003 as a way to comeback from his head injury.
Hey Black Flags Matter, I loved this video. Since you making videos on the origin stories of Teams owned by Cup drivers. Could you make 1 for Kyle Busch Motorsports? K.B.M. was the result of Kyle Busch buying the remains of both Express Motorsports and Billy Ballow Motorsports then combining them together to creats KBM. Could you do a video on the story on those 2 teams?
When Jr. Retired had a hard time picking my new favorite driver. I'd always liked Truex Jr. I loved the fact he won the Cup with a small team so he became my driver but I had his damn teammates.
its crazy I remember when martin truex jr first started, he had some of the worse luck possible if I can remember then I come back after close to a decade of not watching and now hes a cup series champion??? crazy.
2006: JR Motorsports is born and Chance2 is absorbed into DEI. 16 years later: DEI has gone the way of the dodo, and JRM has won 3 of the last 8 Xfinity titles.
Jr. was great for Nascar and still is... but he did have some built in advantages. Even if you take away the Earnhardt name, he is still family with the Eury's and the Gee's, and they were a huge part of the success of Dale and Jr. Dale Jr. is pretty smart himself. Most people don't give him the credit he deserves. (although he did wear his cap backwards for a short period of time) lol
Fun Fact When Kyle Busch was an a up and coming driver, and teams were trying to sign him, Chance 2 almost got him with a split deal with MTJ, and Kyle Busch, but we all know how it ended up. P.S. Chance 2 was my favorite Busch Series team as a kid, as well
I kinda forgot about Chance 2 Motorsports. I knew Dale Jr had a team in the Busch series, I just forgot it was called Chance 2. I though it was also called DEI also I guess 😂
I really wish the nascar xfinity series still had a different schedule compared to cup like the early 00s. Imo it's boring that the trucks, xfinity and cup basically have the same schedule.
It turns out MTJ stomping people in a Bass Pro Shops car, and winning at his multiple home tracks is a decades-long tradition.
That is facts sir. 💯💯
Woukd walkin glen and dover and magic mile be his home tracks?
@@kenny8465 For sure they said the last two were his home tracks in this vid. I guess Watkins gets thrown in there too.
Tale old as time
Chance 2 Motersports is basically the prequel to Jr Motorsports.
Just like Billy Ballow and Xpress Motorsports bought by Kyle Busch and combined together to make Kyle Busch Motorsports.
Loved this Martin rocks it for Dale Jr. Back then. This is when I became a fan of MTJ
You turned her Against me!
DEI should make their return and still waiting for the black GM Goodwrench #3 throwback
@@jaxonjaxoff3291 you have done that yourself!
3:33 Is that some Mark Martin throwback D R I P !?
Either that or it might be a Richie Evens throwback.
Please Make a video on Kyle petty slap
It was a Robert Gee throwback. Truex did however run a Richie Evans tribute at Charlotte in 2003.
Dale jr gave Martin truex a chance 2 be successful and it payed off
@GEO Mason I think you missed the joke
@GEO Mason the joke was supposed to be about how the team name is chance 2 and and dale jr gave MTJ a chance
It’s a pun lol
Nice what you did there
Sure did.
I give thanks every day to Chance 2 for opening the door to NASCAR for MTJ
Those Chance 2 paint jobs were always SO nice
Jr was behind the paint schemes.
@@lis8814 no it was a bunch of sales friends. Like Kevin king. He was the guy who made that Kevin Harvick Reese's car on nr2003
"Tell Martin it's like Talladega BR and he'll know what I'm talking about"
The video that quote is from is a really interesting video
From NR2003 right?
The sound of the cars from the early 2000s is orgasmic music to my ears
Before we had _JRM: the electric boogaloo,_ we had *Chance 2...*
This was Jr Motorsports of the mid 2000’s.
Lol the commentary on Ryan Moore getting locked out of his trailer🤣
It was BS! 😂 It was odd hearing them say my name over and over lmao
“He’s from New Jersey, didn’t sound like it in his interviews” yep, even back then he sounded like he was from Carolina
South Jersey is a completely different animal from North Jersey..
@@roguelead72 facts. You’d have to see it to believe it.. 😂🤣🤝
Ain't nothing wrong with Carolina. I revert to the "Queen's" English if need be.
Those 81 cars were always beautiful
Ah man Nazareth. My first nascar race and first race period. That place should've never closed.
I've driven it on nascar for psp and I realize it's just a game, but if it is an accurate representation of the track it's definitely unique and I like it. I had to Google it to see if it was a fantasy track, nope, just closed down, sad, irs a goodun.
Interesting Fact: The drivers that finish 1-2 in the 2005 Busch Series Championship were teammates at one point
2012-13
Spin gate
Man I remember struggling in those Chance 2 days! 😂
Is this forreal the real Ryan Moore or an imposter lmao?
@@BlackFlagsMatter I hope it’s real but probably not
This is my real name, just not that Ryan Moore 😂 it felt odd hearing my name come out of BP and Weber's mouth over and over. I watch the podcast weekly Darian!
Ryan Moore won a race during the World Series at New Smyrna Speedway earlier in 2021. He is actually a really cool guy!
Appreciate it! Lmao this is really my name, just not the same guy
2017 was the passing of the torch moment for Dale Jr and Truex Jr
Dale Jr. Takes the Lead: The crowd goes wild
Someone else takes the Lead: "YAWN"
Yeap Miss him racing. Understand but still miss him on the track.
I loved the Chance 2 days. I got to meet Truex and Moore while they were running Busch North. It was awesome to see them both race for my favorite driver in Dale Jr. They always had great looking cars, and great drivers. I miss those days. Great video!

Feel the same way. Plus Jr would of had a Cup Championship also.
I didn't even know this team existed, I thought those cars were either from DEI or JRM 😂
Me too its odd
Ah the Taco Bell car I remember that car in bristol and Chance 2 motorsport was stepping stone to now successful Jr Motorsports. Maybe they could be a cup team unless Hendricks steps down and let Dale Jr/Gordon run the team, I could see that.
If you signed a contract with them in NASCAR 05 or 06 you were fucked. It would always crash your game.
I believe it was 06
Lmao!! I vaguely remember this!!
JR motorsports is pretty much the son of chance 2 motorsports
Chance 3 Motorsports?
@@davidhonkstvorisit4811 that would be the grandson

I never knew Kelly raced!!! You learn something new everyday!! Thank you Darian!
@GEO Mason That's awesome!!
I chuckle that the team came in, won consecutive championships and immediately left lol
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I’m a simple man, BFM uploads, I click.
Chance 2 motorsports was the DEI of the busch series that's why truex is gonna go down as one of the best busch series drivers ever
@GEO Mason for a driver that raced in the Busch series for 3 years those are some pretty good stats
@GEO Mason only 2 full seasons. And he won the championship both times.
Seeing that Cheese Nips car made me tear up. Dammit BFM.
They don't sell those in America anymore.
Otherwise known as Jr Motorsports Beta version
Always thought Truex drove for JR motorsport. Didn’t remember the C2
9:40 That's one way to tell him he won't be back next season.
3:50 That's cool to see what Larson's paint scheme is off of.
I find Chance 2 Motorsports a very underrated team in the Xfinity series, I wish they had more wins along the series.
You know the edp situation is bad when black flags matter is on Chet goldsteins live chat😂
Joe Nem was like "Im not finishing behind this team again young man!!!!" to tony(looks back to when Jr finished infront of him)
Great video, honestly i feel you deserve more subscribers.
Thanks for making this video. I watched every single race In the Cup Truck & Busch series from 04-06. Was magic
Busch Series at Talladega in 03 was one of the few times I wanted Jr to have an issue. Wanted Joe Nemechek to win
They had some pretty cool paint schemes as well. Taco Bell, KFC and the Bass Pro cars to name a few.
"Dale Jr wanted to try it on his own."
*merges with Hendrick Motorsports*
5:33 Man what a call
It’s so cool to see the evolution of Martin truex and see where he came from. Great video👍👍
One of the few Busch Series diecasts I was able to get my hands on back then was this team's #81 KFC car.
The OG JR Motorsports
Awesome vid. I was waiting for this team to have a story or vid on it.
Good work as always
learned more than i thought i would...like they really took a video game strat and won with it? 😂 what legends
i like chance 2 Motorsports love the video Darien very good
Does anyone have the link to that “Talladega BR” video? I remember they also talked to Steve Park about using Nr2003 as a way to comeback from his head injury.
Future uploads: Revisiting Furniture Row Racing and Championship Seasons: Martin Truex Jr. 2004-2005.
Another great video
Oh I thought you were talking about second chance motorsports.
If Jr motorsports does go cup racing it would be amazing
He said him and Kelley have talked about moving up with the new car coming.
My dad worked for Ryan Moore back in the Busch north series 😂

That Truex car at 3:40 looks like the Mark Martin ASA car

In alternate reaily Ricky Hendrick owns father team in every lower series, Dale Jr owns Chance 2 and Dale Sr owns DEI in cup
"It's like Talladega BR"
Thats insane
this validates for me still playing NR2003 as a simulation game...
I like this vid it’s has my fav driver
Martin Truex Jr thanks to jr he has a good ride with jgr 🙌😄
Chance 2 Motorsports= Jr Motorsports 2
Still pretty crazy how long truex has been in nascar for
Ryan Moore is a fantastic driver, I guess busch series wasn't great for him
Bought the 3 doors down diecast from dei 3 years ago

Edit: Also MTJ winning at Talladega?! What?!
This team needs to come back
Basically The Predecessor of JRM
This was basically the prequel to jr motorsports, and jr motorsports is the original. Why do the paint schemes look exactly like dei?
Oh ok they where one tough team back in day 2006-2017
I miss NASCAR Busch/Nationwide/Xfinity going to Mexico and Montreal. Fucking F1
It was basically the Xfinity series DEI
I kinda forgot about Chance 2 Motorsports. I knew Dale Jr had a team in the Busch series, I just forgot it was called Chance 2. I though it was also called DEI also I guess 😂
Bad Seasons Martin Truex Jr. 2013
His 2013 season was actually pretty solid, even with Spingate.
2013 was a really good season for him at that time he won at Sonoma that year and barely missed the playoffs
Imagine an alternative universe where she lets dale jr buy the controlling interest in DEI.
I’ll miss this team the only two times (well 3) MTJ wins on a superspeedway
This was a great team
