Tbh from watching Bale in video, it really seems that he does care for the club. In the interview he never states that he wants to leave spurs. He is here on loan which means technically he does have to go back to Real Madrid. That's the plan. I think the media is taking what he said wayyyyy too deep. Plans change. He could have worded it better sure, but I don't think he would betray spurs fans so easily like that.
He has to answer these questions diplomatically, if he or spurs seem too enthusiastic about the second loan spell it will play into Madrid's hands in the negotiations, it's a very cookie cutter answer that every loan player gives. No need for spurs fans to read too much into it.
