Since I’ve discovered beauty TH-camrs like you , I’ve learned a lot. I don’t wear a lot of make up at all, I like a light to light medium coverage. I haven't had a chance to watch all of your videos so I wasn't sure if you use one of those dermaroller devices . If you do which ones have you tried and what serum do you use with yours. Love your bloopers lol great makeup bag ! I use almost everything you mentioned in the drugstore category . I mentioned to you before the pixie corrector was drying on my skin , but I experimented more and by warming & rubbing it with my fingers , placing it only where I need it , has been working ! I love so many Milani products thanks to you , and speaking of which , the Milani GLOW hydrating skin tint is wonderful on your less makeup days , over my sunscreen I use (110 fair to light ) mixed with (210 light to medium ) 👈🏻 works alone in the summer

Thrive has a tubing mascara, too, at about the same price. Ive had good luck w the black shade, but the brown was flaky and got into my eyes. Want to try the MAC...thank you; Great video as usual!
Thanks for all the suggestions! Thank he Milani cheek kiss is one of my absolute favorites, I reach for it all the time too, my shade is the Merlot though. I should see if I can find their bronzer in the deep shade. I have yet to find a good drugstore bronzer.

I seldom use powder but sometimes like a light dusting in my T zone so I have a wild powder recommendation. Wet and Wild actually. They make a finely milled loose translucent powder. Risa Does Makeup surprisingly recommended and I thought “really?” But I tried it and like it very much. Soft & blurring, not cakey or matifying. I also have the No. 7 but like the W&W loose powder a bit better. Happy Halloween!
The tinted hydrator is the only thing i wear for a “foundation” as my skin has improved, I have dry skin at 30, and on a budget! I absolutely love it and I have repurchased it at least 4 times!

I love this! Thank you. I'm taking this with me to go shopping. Here's an issue that I no one seems to address, under eye bags. I feel isolated and alone on this topic. I cannot for the life of me grasp why no one addresses this at length in regards to recommended products. I don't have an issue with color except TINY sections on the inner corners of my eyes - so small that even when I use a tiny brush to get there, there's nothing small enough to blend it. I would happily live with a tiny bit of discoloration if I could find something that would help calm down the bags under my eyes. 😔

It rinses off with warm water. I use such a light touch on my lower lashes and haven’t used it on the top lashes to really test out how easily it comes off.

Very cool Tamara ! All great recommendations for beginners. Can’t live without the Pixie Peach color Corrector. I sure wish I could wear a liquid foundation. Everything I’ve tried is just to uncomfortable, and makes my face sweat. 😂 I know what you mean about powder making us mature girls look older though. After much trial and error, I did find a pressed powder that doesn’t look like I’m wearing powder, and it’s the Fenty Beauty Brand. It is more expensive, but needed something that looked good to wear at my Son’s wedding. Another powder that looked nice , but not as nice as the Fenty was the Flower Beauty powder. I use that for and every day powder, to help conserve the Fenty. Everyone’s skin is different, so the Fenty may not work for you, but next time you’re at Sephora check it out. I may get a sample of the Sephora liquid makeup, it seems like it would be lighter weight. I’m not giving up my search for a liquid makeup. There is one out there for me. Love watching all your videos, and you have such a sweet personality too ! ☺️☺️

Enjoyed another fun visit with you. Loved your choices for an affordable starter kit. It was spot on for beginners or someone like me who doesn't like the made up look. At 83 less is best but do like something to look my best.
I want to try the Mailani glow powder because it's pressed. I currently (on my second container) am using and love the Flower Beauty Miracle Glow settings powder. It does wonderful things for my under eyes and forehead and pores. It's totally blurs. So maybe give that a try also. Curious what you think. But the Milani will be more travel frie da and I think I will try next. Pretty Over Fifty always recommends also. You two are my favorite!

Aww...thank you Donna! Insider secret...the plant on the dresser next to the bed is actually two plants. But all three plants seem pretty happy here. I think it's the light that we get in the huge South and East facing window. We all love the bright light we get all day long. All I have to do is remember to water...and trim every few months to prevent them from getting too leggy. Oh and Miracle Grow in the spring. Happy Halloween! ❤️
Great content! Thanks for so many good suggestions. I have been trying the Wet n Wild Hydrator. I have oily combo skin in summer and still find it a bit drying. Tried a moisturizer under which was a bit better but still dry. Anyone else having this issue?? Any suggestions for improving this would be so appreciated.
I enjoy your Sunday videos, we are the same age! Question: How do you touch up the under eye during the day? If I add more powder or concealer it gets dry/crepey/creased looking.... I use an eye cream, then a darker serum foundation there, instead of color corrector since those seem drying, then a tiny bit of fine powder and it looks good, but seems to soak in during the day. I have tried the setting spray on a puff technique but still does this. What to do? Thank you!
Thank you Lori Jo! What works for me is to freshen up with a light layer of my Garnier Anti Dark circle Roller ball. It is sheer to super light coverage and just seems to brighten and freshen up my under eyes without looking cakey. I carry it in my purse. The ELF flawless brightening concealer I mentioned in the video may work well for this as well (with slightly more coverage) …some say it’s a dupe for The YSL Touché Eclat brightening pen. The idea being to just touch up with a super light weight brightener to freshen up. Hope this helps!

I use some correctors in my eyelids as well. It’s much more comfortable than concealer or eyeshadow primer. I’ll give the ELF a try!
You gave me an idea about eyelids to use corrector instead of eye primer. Eyelid primers havent been beneficial to me . 🎀🎀

I love this! Thank you. I'm taking this with me to go shopping. Here's an issue that I no one seems to address, under eye bags. I feel isolated and alone on this topic. I cannot for the life of me grasp why no one addresses this at length in regards to recommended products. I don't have an issue with color except TINY sections on the inner corners of my eyes - so small that even when I use a tiny brush to get there, there's nothing small enough to blend it. I would happily live with a tiny bit of discoloration if I could find something that would help calm down the bags under my eyes. 😔

Tamara, so glad you found the MAC Gigablack mascara for the lower lashes! I have been using it for years just on my lower lashes. It is the best. I appreciate your recommendations for a starter makeup kit. Very affordable. I have not explored Sephora products very much. But now I think I will.

Fun video. Question; how do you remove the Tubing mascara?
It rinses off with warm water. I use such a light touch on my lower lashes and haven’t used it on the top lashes to really test out how easily it comes off.

Very cool Tamara ! All great recommendations for beginners. Can’t live without the Pixie Peach color Corrector. I sure wish I could wear a liquid foundation. Everything I’ve tried is just to uncomfortable, and makes my face sweat. 😂 I know what you mean about powder making us mature girls look older though. After much trial and error, I did find a pressed powder that doesn’t look like I’m wearing powder, and it’s the Fenty Beauty
Brand. It is more expensive, but needed something that looked good to wear at my Son’s wedding. Another powder that looked nice , but not as nice as the Fenty was the Flower Beauty powder. I use that for and every day powder, to help conserve the Fenty. Everyone’s skin is different, so the Fenty may not work for you, but next time you’re at Sephora check it out. I may get a sample of the Sephora liquid makeup, it seems like it would be lighter weight. I’m not giving up my search for a liquid makeup. There is one out there for me. Love watching all your videos, and you have such a sweet personality too ! ☺️☺️

I want to try the Mailani glow powder because it's pressed. I currently (on my second container) am using and love the Flower Beauty Miracle Glow settings powder. It does wonderful things for my under eyes and forehead and pores. It's totally blurs. So maybe give that a try also. Curious what you think. But the Milani will be more travel frie da and I think I will try next. Pretty Over Fifty always recommends also. You two are my favorite!

Aww...thank you Donna! Insider secret...the plant on the dresser next to the bed is actually two plants. But all three plants seem pretty happy here. I think it's the light that we get in the huge South and East facing window. We all love the bright light we get all day long. All I have to do is remember to water...and trim every few months to prevent them from getting too leggy. Oh and Miracle Grow in the spring. Happy Halloween! ❤️
Great content! Thanks for so many good suggestions. I have been trying the Wet n Wild Hydrator. I have oily combo skin in summer and still find it a bit drying. Tried a moisturizer under which was a bit better but still dry. Anyone else having this issue?? Any suggestions for improving this would be so appreciated.

I know the stay matte ink by Maybelline is very popular but it is very difficult to remove and for me, it didn't wear well. Love Revlon lip products.
I enjoy your Sunday videos, we are the same age! Question: How do you touch up the under eye during the day? If I add more powder or concealer it gets dry/crepey/creased looking.... I use an eye cream, then a darker serum foundation there, instead of color corrector since those seem drying, then a tiny bit of fine powder and it looks good, but seems to soak in during the day. I have tried the setting spray on a puff technique but still does this. What to do? Thank you!
Thank you Lori Jo! What works for me is to freshen up with a light layer of my Garnier Anti Dark circle Roller ball. It is sheer to super light coverage and just seems to brighten and freshen up my under eyes without looking cakey. I carry it in my purse. The ELF flawless brightening concealer I mentioned in the video may work well for this as well (with slightly more coverage) …some say it’s a dupe for The YSL Touché Eclat brightening pen. The idea being to just touch up with a super light weight brightener to freshen up. Hope this helps!

You nailed it Tamara👏I have many of your choices, Sephora Found., Eye love palette, lifter glosses. As for finding right color in foundation, I've looked to youtubers who have my coloring! I never guess on my own anymore since I found my foundation twins. I'm not a big powder user either. It goes a little under my eyes sometimes. In summer maybe nose cheek area.
