This was my second or 3rd credit card and I actually like it . I pay it off before it’s due date because I never pay interest. Also mine starting off was 700.00 . The key is before your cycle date end (a few days before ) make sure the card is paid off between 1 and 3 percent (NO MORE THAN 9) or 0 depending on how many credit cards you have .. your explanation is understandable depending on how you use your credit cards . But for me no issues , utilization is low and I have 3 CC totals .
This is a tool at a cost to build credit not a shopping spree card ....this is why your here in the first place you have to pay to for your mistakes ...learn from it and build your history and get a better card in the future
I agree. This is not a card that has a strong utility like a high limit card or a charge card. It’s literally just to build up credit. You shouldn’t be putting anything more on it than maybe a Netflix subscription or something, setting it on auto pay, and then letting it report to the credit bureaus. Everything else should be paid from a checking account.
Signed up for this card because credit is low 600’s got a $700 limit the annual fee is ridiculous but this is a card I will maybe use to fill up with gas once a month and never touch it ! I think they set you up for failure from the jump I’d just be careful with this card guys
I got a pre-qualified letter for this card and got approved. Since I never heard of it I inherently don’t trust it. Gonna use it for Hulu and shit like that n that’s it. 36% apr my ass.
They sent me an offer and threw it in the shredder. We’re better off getting a secured card. Mine is with NFCU. Score was 560 in august I believe, eventually I got approved for capital one quicksilver one with 3k limit and 39 annual fee. This morning my trans union is 635. Goal is 740+💪🏾💪🏾
So I got this card and it seems to be good from the start and Then the trouble started , they shut my card down because I used it over three or for times when I was traveling, so I called to get it back on track and made my monthly payment ( I'm on disability so first of the month is bill paying time ) on the 3rd I made the payment and noticed the next day another payment of the same amount was talken without my approval, so I called and told them to take one of the payment off and return it to my bank . Well they returned both payments to my bank and closed my card account. They do not know what they're doing in my opinion, no communication with each other and not clear on what they're telling you so you clearly understand . Be aware of this card .
I just applied for this card and got approved for 700. With all this negative comment it makes me want to cancel. But I just need to increase my credit score & hopefully I'll help 🥺
Dumb question can you use this to pay off other credit cards and loans that say they didnt pull credit as i knew they would and had a massive amount of power to bring my credit from 700 to 350's.. i have no idea how it got that low when i paid all debts in time and still ended up getting intrest fees i shouldnt have needed to pay for..
It depends on how old it is. I ended up closing mine because I opened it not that long before getting approved for a capital one platinum. Since I intend on keeping my capital one and they’re so close in age, I just closed my milestone. But if your card is significantly older than your other cards, then I would say keep it. Try to downgraded to a no fee card. And just make small purchases here and there to keep it open.
i swiped it for 450 dollars to pay a billl..700 limit 2 weeks later paid 100 a week after that paid 100 then it said i was late for a payment so i paid another 80 the nwxt day i was late again..... so i paid 100 2 weeks later i owe them $700 wtf....i paid $320 and told them to shit the damn card off a week later i owe them $741 what a joke
For a $700 limit you shouldn’t keep more than $150 balance at any given time to keep the credit utilization low. This isn’t a card that you do serious spending on. It’s a card that you put small monthly purchases on and set it to auto pay in order to report to the credit bureaus.

Common sense is not common. Hence Americans drowning in credit card debt.

Thanks for the heads up on this card. I almost applied for it.
I was approved, but I declined. I decided to go with capital one.
Good
Better choice
I was approved for $1K with a $250 annual fee.... immediately canceled. Not for me! I rather a secured card
I got a pre-qualified letter for this card and got approved. Since I never heard of it I inherently don’t trust it. Gonna use it for Hulu and shit like that n that’s it. 36% apr my ass.

Get secured cards to build credit quickly.
Plus you have to mail or fax your drivers license or state ID.

You got it !
Damn how you do that 👀 and ya I threw mine out this morning 😂
MC Quick silver with Capital One and your FICO was 560 at that time?
Lies they tell😂@@thesuccessbags
Don’t wast your time on this card. I been waiting over 30 days for the initial card and they took 75.00 annual fee up front…
I was pre approved $700.00, APR 35.9% I pass
😅👍🏿👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Thank You. Very knowledgeable in your field. Peace and blessings 2023 To Prosperity 2024. Shalom

This isn’t the type of card you travel with. It’s a very basic card
i just got this card tried to get 100 bucks and it denied me. also charged me 250 before i even activated. dont do it.
I just applied for this card and got approved for 700. With all this negative comment it makes me want to cancel. But I just need to increase my credit score & hopefully I'll help 🥺
Yeah don’t worry it’s literally to improve your score so you get better card offers in the future hold it for 6 months don’t use it tho
How do you pay your bill off without Linking. bank account?

Can anyone tell me if it is safe to put my SSN on the app over this internet application
I applied for this card my applications pending
They send me a email about this card but I already have a capital one platinum and the chase freedom unlimited card already 🤷🏼🤷🏻♀️💳
This card has a fee, so it’s definitely not worth activating a lesser card that has a fee when you have a Chase and a Capital One
Don’t touch this card it’s a total ripoff.
I got this card when I was starting my credit journey and now that have high limit cards should i close this one?
It depends on how old it is. I ended up closing mine because I opened it not that long before getting approved for a capital one platinum. I agree
I sent them my state id by fax online for this card I hope I get approved
Good luck 🍀
@@JustMoneyish thanks so much
Do not get this card- waste of time
Depends on the situation but yea for the most part lol
i swiped it for 450 dollars to pay a billl..700 limit

a week after that paid 100
then it said i was late for a payment
so i paid another 80

2 weeks later i owe them $700 wtf....i paid $320 and told them to shit the damn card off
a week later i owe them $741 what a joke
Moral of the story is don’t spend past $100 with this card and pay their anual fee before you use it

They sent me, but I didn’t activate it, how can refuse it?
